Ben and Nashville Upholstery did a fantastic job on 6 chairs I had reupholstered after they had basically disintegrated! I wanted to keep them because the wood matched the table they came with. Ben picked up the chairs, took them to his shop and delivered them back to me all within two weeks! I could not have asked for better craftsmanship! I would definitely recommend Nashville Upholstery to anyone!

I hired Nashville Upholstery (also known as Mobile Leather Repair) to install Katzkin leather in one of our work trucks. I explicitly told the owner Ben that I wanted the leather to match the armrest color and sent a photo for reference. When I picked up the truck the leather was the wrong gray matching the original cloth instead. My text messages clearly showed the requested color but Ben was rude and dismissive. The installation was sloppy with loose fitting leather and scratches on our brand new truck’s cupholder that Ben initially refused to fix. He never showed a leather sample before ordering or installing. When I said I would dispute the charge and leave an honest review Ben threatened to post fake reviews about our business. He followed through and left a fake Google review on our page despite never doing business with us (screenshot available). My attorney also contacted the law firm Ben claimed was representing him. They had no record of him as a client. Update 1: After I contacted Katzkin directly they replaced the entire leather kit at no cost and sent it to a different much better installer in the Nashville area. The new seats are perfect and match exactly as originally requested. Update 2 (November 2025): Nashville Upholstery refused to pay for the damage their employee admitted causing in writing so we filed in Davidson County General Sessions Court. The judge ruled completely in our favor and entered a $1000 judgment plus court costs against the owner Ben. When we went to his shop to collect the court ordered judgment (which is legal) Ben refused payment and became verbally abusive. We are now enforcing the judgment through the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office and Ben will be placed into custody over $1000. Court documents, text admissions, the fake review he left on our business, and all related correspondence are available. Katzkin ultimately made everything right but the experience with Nashville Upholstery / Mobile Leather Repair was completely unacceptable. There are many reputable Katzkin authorized installers in middle Tennessee. This shop should be your last choice. Check their numerous negative reviews on Google and Yelp before considering them.

I had an incredible experience with Nashville Upholstery! Ben helped me get my 4Runner driver’s seat leather repaired, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. I dropped it off in the morning and by 4:00pm I received a text letting me know it was ready—same day! The price was very fair, and the communication was excellent from start to finish—scheduling the appointment, dropping it off, payment, and pickup were all seamless. I loved being able to pay securely via a link texted to my phone and then pick up my vehicle with zero hassle. Professional, friendly, and efficient—highly recommend Ben and the Nashville Upholstery team!

I found out about Nashville upholstery after they did a flawless leather repair on my father-in-laws Cayenne. I had a 40 yr old bench seat from a Toyota pickup that had a large tear in the drivers side. I messaged the team at Nashville upholstery and they were confident they could repair it. Repair indeed. The seat looks brand new and the material that was sown in for repair was a perfect match. Unbelievable. The seat looks perfect. They repaired welds that had broken and refoamed the seat as well. Outstanding service. Great communication. Excellent work. Highly recommend!!

I had been looking for a place that could reupholster my barber chair and hadn’t had a lot of luck. I found Nashville Upholstery and was able to text back and forth with photos and get a quote very quickly. Went over that day picked out the fabric and they ordered it. Took about 2 weeks to get the fabric since we ordered it over a holiday. When it came in they picked it up Tuesday and dropped it back off on Wednesday. They did a fantastic job on the chair and had great customer service. I will definitely use them again in the future and recommend others to them as well. Brown before, blue after.

Ben, Greg and the rest of the team at Nashville Upholstery are grade A professionals. They were so easy to communicate with, worked quickly, and did an outstanding job installing a Katzkin leather kit in my Land Cruiser. Without exaggeration, it was the best car-related business experience I've ever had, and now my LC is straight fire inside.

My experience with Nashville Upholstery was disappointing. I took them a convertible boot (the cover for the convertible top when its in the stowed position) from a classic car. The boot is original and in great shape except for the corners which were cracked due to age. I explained how the boot attached to the car and the repair needed to be uniform using material that was comparable to what was already there. I showed the guy up front pictures of where and how it needed to fit. The repair was unprofessional and clearly not what I was expecting. It looked as if super glue and tape were used. I explained the repair would not work as it was too thick, jagged, not uniform and wouldn’t fit. Pictures speak for themselves(1-3). He became confrontational and insisted it would work and that’s all they were willing to do. He then walked away muttering obscenities. At this point the boot couldn’t be used as it would no longer install in the slide track. Fortunately, I found a shop called Cannonballs Covers. Cannonballs removed the entire retainer (plastic strip). They replaced it with an identical material as to when the boot was new. (Pictures attached 4-5) The repair was perfect. They charged me less than half what Nashville Upholstery charged. I’ve since taken Cannonballs two seats for re-covering. They turned out perfect.

I had such a great experience with Nashville Upholstery! My leather car seat was damaged, so I texted them a photo, and they immediately replied with a very reasonable quote and even told me I could come in the same day. The entire repair took less than an hour, and now my car seat looks brand new. The whole process was quick, easy, and affordable. Highly recommend!
