I did a three-day camping expedition with Nanook in August 2025, and it was absolutely fantastic. Our guides, Bella and Alisha, were incredible—knowledgeable, safety-focused, and genuinely fun to be around. They created such a great atmosphere and awesome vibes for the whole trip. Not only are they kayak guides, but they were also amazing camp kitchen chefs, baking fresh muffins, beer bread, and brownies right on the island—something I never expected on a kayaking expedition! On the second day, the weather turned windy, and the water conditions were a little rough, but Bella and Alisha handled it with total professionalism. Before launching, they gave us clear instructions on what to expect and coached us on how to navigate the waves safely. After lunch, they even had us surfing the waves, which was such a fun and memorable experience!! One of the highlights of that day was when Alisha made up a hilarious song during the paddle, turning “Surfin’ USA” into “Surfin’ Georgian Bay.” 😂🌊 It kept everyone laughing, even in the rough conditions. All of the gear provided—tents, sleeping pads, kayaks, and safety equipment—was in excellent condition, very clean, and clearly well maintained. Overall, it was an amazing trip, and I would absolutely recommend Nanook to anyone looking for a fun and memorable paddling adventure!

Dan and Ed's teaching of the level 1 skills course, but I can't find a link for a Google review on your website. It was an exhilarating and challenging weekend and I learned a lot that I hope to slowly master! Their styles totally compliment one another. The priority on safety for all water users was evident in both instructors. The respect for others and our learning styles was also on clear display. It was a welcoming and worthwhile experience that I would recommend to anyone!
