This tattoo design represents Lord Shiva and power. A trident also known as trishul is the weapon of Lord Shiva and the three points of it have different meanings and significance, they commonly represent – creation, maintenance and destruction; past, present and future; body, mind and atma.
The Trishul tattoo is famous with followers of Shaivism. The Trishul is a symbol of power; hence many people tend to have it on their bodies to show their power or control over their own lives. It can also be used as a symbol of protection, as the gods used the original Trishul to protect their followers from evil.
The Damru and the Trishul have known to be the favorite requirements of lord shiva without which he does not move about. One is the weapon of destruction and the other one is the force of the universe. The two equipment symbolizes his power as a creator, preserver, and destroyer.
Rudraksha (IAST: rudrākṣa) refers to a stonefruit, the dried stones of which are used as prayer beads by Hindus (especially Shaivas), as well as by Buddhists and Sikhs. When they are ripe, rudraksha stones are covered by an inedible blue outer fruit so they are sometimes called "blueberry beads".
So the client wanted a Customized Lord Shiva with trishul , damru and rudraksh tattoo so we sketched this for him and after the completion of the tattoo, the client was happy.
