As someone who gets their nails done religiously, I have been to so many nail salons in the North Jersey area. Nails By Mariaale in Clifton is the best nail salon I have ever been to, and I can’t recommend this place enough. I found this salon this past November, funnily enough through searching, “good nail salons in my area”, and boy, am I so thankful I did. Today was my third time going and I could not be more pleased each and every single time. This was my first appointment with Wendy, and she did an absolute incredible job. I came in with nail inspo and not only did she manage to recreate it, but she did an even better job than the nail inspo itself. She is kind, professional, and so meticulous about her work. I am obsessed with my new and current set, not only do the nails themselves look stunning, but her prep work alone is insane. I can’t wait to book my future appointments with her! The salon is clean and beautiful and all the girls are so kind and welcoming (shoutout to Sophia, who has always been so sweet and helpful). I just couldn’t have asked for a better nail salon. I will continue to come each month and continue to recommend this place to my friends, family, and everyone who compliments my nails, because trust, when you get your nails done here, you will get a ton of compliments. Endless blessings to the salon and the girls, they truly deserve all the success, love, and support.

I have been getting my nails done by Maria (ms. businesswoman queen) for the past 3 years & have had the honor of watching her amazing business grow. And when I say my nails have never looked better, I mean it! I love going to my monthly nail appointments & can always trust in Maria to bring the nail inspo to life. Over the years, I have also gone to a few of the other nail techs and they have done an equally outstanding job. Everyone is very sweet & adds to the overall positive experience when getting your nails done at Nails by Mariaale. Cannot recommend enough, the talent and hard work is simply unmatched!

I’ve been going here since the beginning of 2025 and have no plans on going anywhere else anytime soon! I’ve had nothing but positive experiences since my first appointment and I always know that Sophie will kill it with any design I ask her to do. 10/10 recommend for anyone looking to go to a high quality nail salon :)

So I was really looking forward to getting my nails done at this shop. The reviews were all great, the designs looked wonderful online, and the shop is close to my house. I went into the shop on Wednesday morning and wanted the style captured in the first pic. Although the nail tech didn’t get it just like the pic, it was still cute. However it started coming off that same day as shown in the pic. I was able to go back to the shop today, Friday and was told that the chrome color is prone to coming off quickly. Ok now I’ve had chrome before and never has it come off in less than 24 hrs but ok they agreed to do my nails over. I went back to the shop at the time I was given an appointment with the same tech but then was told she wasn’t available, that I would be with another tech. I showed that tech the design I wanted and had discussed with the receptionist and the new tech was like “no, that’s a design.” I should’ve known from the door she didn’t want to do my nails and the pics I’ve included show it all. I included the reference pic and what I received. What I received doesn’t look like the pic I used as a reference, and it doesn’t even look like a professional did it. She wanted to rush thru thinking I wasn’t going to tip her perhaps but I was always going to give her something because she wasn’t the original tech who did my nails and I always feel weird not compensating a new person for their time. All in all I spent over $100 for just regular old pink nails. Gave 2 stars because they redid my nails but al in all, NOT PLEASED!!!

The best customer service! I chose this salon because of how clean and thorough the staff is. I’ve visited both of their locations and have seen multiple nail technicians, and I loved how my nails turned out every single time. Shoutout to Sophie — she’s amazing and always brings my visions to life! 🥰

Amazing Salon with amazing staff, i’ve gotten my nails done primarily by Catalina but have recently gone to Nicole, both techs are absolutely amazing and go above and beyond the whole staff is so welcoming and friendly I recommend to anyone who asks where I get my nails done 1000/10

This is definitely a gem in Jersey! I’ve been going to them for about 6 months and have zero complaints. The work speaks for itself. Sofia is that girllllllll and Andrea always leaves my toesie’s looking and feeling wonderful.

I’ve been going to the Clifton location since October of 2024 . Sophia is my nail tech.. and I can honestly say she’s the best I’ve ever had . Very friendly , caring , talented and funny! She executes every design I show her making it sooo exciting to get my nails done . The suite is very clean and pretty . The staff inside is always so nice and of course they have snacks !!! I recommend booking you will not regret!

My HOLY GRAIL! I have been coming to Maria for over two years when she was working out of a salon in Fair Lawn & have followed her & watch her bloom into this successful business with amazing people! If you are thinking about going here, just do it already (although I’d rather keep it a secret). Maria and Jazmin are my two favorite people to get gel x serviced by (honorable mention to Sophie), and they offer the best pedicures (Andrea is my favorite). Every time i leave the salon, i feel amazing. Best products, best communication, and best hospitality!
