I am going on a 6000 Mile Road Trip in 2 days and developed an oil leak, probably stemming from the oil pan plug. But I didn't know what the problem might be, and of course this is the weekend now. So I Googled mechanics in my area, hoping someone might be open on the weekend, when I saw the listing for nail in the head. He explained to me what no one else had, that oil plug washers should be changed when the oil is changed, in later model cars. The last time I changed an oil plug washer, it was considered a specialty item and could only come from the dealer. I didn't know that auto shops now carry them. He explained that to me and was totally okay with me taking care of it myself. He would have had to drive up from Denver to do it himself. And reasonably so, he would have needed to charge me $160. I offered to pay for the knowledge he gave me, but he played that down. I will definitely let friends know about his business.

Scott and Ken would not give up they went above and beyond. They even spent the night in there van to make sure we got an early start the next morning and they got me back on the road by noon

One of the only people who answered and the only one who'd help the same day despite multiple companies claiming "24 hours" as their availability and it not being particularly late. Seemingly reasonable price for the part (at most a ~$20 or ~5% upcharge) and service (cheaper than a tow). Glad I called as the alternative was a tow and potentially multiple trips. The guy is called Scott, had to ask his name since I didn't catch it on the phone.

My car started leaking coolant and he was right. He was perfectly honest with me saying that he could get it done this time. He showed up and it took him two hours, but it was a great price great help very easy to work with. Just glad that I was able to get back. I’m headed home from college so the great help for him to ask to be able to and he answered the phone very easily people don’t know this, but A lot of 24 hour mechanics don’t like to answer their phone and I experienced that issue but thanks Lee nail in the head came to my rescue.

Scott, was an absolute godsend!!! Every shop near me in Winter Park said they’d be happy to help in two weeks, yet Nail In The Head was at my rental to fix my tires in less than an hour on a Saturday evening! Made quick work and such a reasonable charge for me to eat dinner while he fixed the tire. Highly recommend!!!

Very good service and fast work to change a flat tire with a spare tire in the middle of late night. The next day, he was able to obtained a new tire and installed it on my rental car，a very quick turn around time. In addition, he provided support via phone on tire pressure issue.

There's never a good time to find out your battery is dead, but when you are just passing through Winter Park and don't have the resources you do at home, the timing seems even worse. We called Nailed in the Head for a jump, and were back on the road in no time. Thanks for the quick, friendly and affordable response!
