Hit a pot hole right in front of the entrance to the Holland Tunnel and got an instant flat. Called the roadside assistance on my insurance card and they tell me to expect a 1-1.5hr wait. After a few mins, I get a call from My Way to confirm the pickup location (insurance company had told them I was on Washington Blvd in Hoboken when I was on Washington Blvd in Jersey City) and the the dropoff point. They tell me a truck is just 15 mins away. Right on time a truck pulls up. Driver takes the keys and drives the car (manual transmission) right onto the flat-bed without needing to use the winch, and we were all loaded up in less than 10 mins. Driver lets me ride along, and shares stories about the recent flooding from Hurricane Ida, stories from his time as a store manager at the tire shop, how he cares for his cars, etc. Very cool guy. Driver unloads the car at the tire shop and then drives it into a parking space for me. If I had a choice for a future tow, I wouldn't hesitate to go with My Way.
