MUST Wine Bar Wanstead

Amazing experience! This place is a gem - their unique offering is a lot of wines by the glass. The variety is pretty impressive and you can find the wine you will like The staff were very welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful. I want to be back!

Lovely wine bar with a great atmosphere. Came on Saturday night and there was live jazz music. The food was delicious - we loved the Camembert and the cauliflower! Great service, we were undecided and they brought out some tasters of whites and reds to help us. Loved it!

I chose this venue for a surprise celebration attended by 26 guests. We had a joyous evening with all our family and friends. Your venue is simply beautiful, a great space to host our event. The wine tasting experience included 5 wines and a platter of mezze style nibbles (ham, cheese, nuts, hummus, grapes etc). You could tell the wine was of thee finest quality. I normally wake up in the morning, my head feeling a bit heavy after wine - but not on this occasion!!! The wine selection was incredible and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the choices given to us. Mike and Wade are the perfect hosts - really friendly and incredibly attentive. Must Wine have a great team, who are warm, helpful, graceful, polite and overall just good vibes! We look forward to visiting again soon.

*edited to add their new brunch menu review* This is our go-to local wine bar. I highly recommend going to their monthly wine tasting events which are great value for money. You get the opportunity to try a variety of different wines, with great guidance on how to appreciate them - Mike the owner is full of knowledge, from understanding flavour to the science and variability involved in wine making. He’s always willing to answer any questions you may have. The food is delicious too - I always go for the cheese board which changes every 2 months and are always delicious - it’s never bog standard blue, smoked and cheddar like many other places - they’ve always got a unique taste and flavour and again feel good value for money. The same with the charcuterie board - you can really tell they’ve been chosen thoughtfully and with great appreciation of flavour and experience. My only bit of feedback is that going in on a regular day the wine menu can feel quite overwhelming as they have many types to try. However, the staff are always very lovely and very accommodating to requests and recommendations. *Brunch edit* Must has recently released a brunch menu, which they’re still developing so subject to change, but we thought the brunch was lovely! The truffle tortellini was absolutely delicious and I highly recommend this as the option you go for. All the ingredients felt fresh and of quality. The smorrebred was a very affordable and value for money price and good variety of food, I think the salad need abit of work as I think the combination of blackberry, betroot and feta sounds delicious I just think it was maybe missing some acidity which could be added with a dressing if they chose to do this. Overall a lovely spot for brunch and offering something a little different for brunch that currently on the high street atm.

We popped into Must for 1 glass, then stayed for their wonderful Wanstead Fringe Wine Festival flight of sparkling wines & champagne. Fantastic service, Renato was very friendly and incredibly knowledgeable. The selection of bubbles included in the amazingly priced flight (£9:99 for 3 glasses) was wonderful. We'll definitely be back and have already recommended it to several friends.

Private wine tasting was brilliant. Wade was amazing, very knowledgable and great customer service. It’s a very friendly and relaxing environment. The charcuterie and cheese board were really tasty. I will definitely be back here me and my friends loved it. Beautiful interior and great location, I highly recommend.

Loved the wine tasting. There was a selection of Bubbles, White, Rose and Red. I wish there was more Red wine because that's just my personal preference. Overall we loved the experience. Shout out to Wade for his knowledge and attending to us for the evening. The platter was lovely and light with a mixture of breads, hummus, olives and meats. Would recommend to any wine or gin lovers. 🍷

It was our third time at Must in Wanstead and we love it! The service is always amazing, Eve and Bernadette were great at helping us find the best wine and they were so attentive throughout our night. It is our new favourite place to get wine in Wanstead - we will be back soon!

Popped in for a glass of wine whilst waiting for the bus and so glad we did. Tianna was incredible - full of sommelier knowledge and fun and friendly at the same time!

Brilliant wine tasting event with Wade...it was such a relaxing atmosphere , great banter , great wine and delicious platters of food to match ..we spent the whole night in the cozy private area with plenty of time to literally mull things over. Wade was such a lovely host, super knowledgeable without preaching or pushing ..just a really interesting time to understand more about wine.
