Murrayshall Country Estate

We had a lovely stay for one night on a Dinner, Bed and Breakfast basis. The hotel was spectacularly decked out for Christmas, very impressive. Huge Christmas tree in front of chunky wooden staircase in Reception proved to be a popular photo opportunity for guests! We had lunch in Cairns restaurant which was quiet. Food was good, however the chicken burger said flame grilled on menu but arrived in batter which was odd. There was an inviting bar area for pre dinner drinks in which we enjoyed a G&T. We had a fantastic meal in Eolas, which blew our expectations. Food was incredible- very fine dining - all compliments go to the ambitious chef. The service in Eolas was also first class and deserves special mention. Our room was very comfortable, cosy warm, with great view over golf course. Thoroughly recommend this hotel and restaurant. Would be happy to stay there again.

Beautiful countryside setting in an amazing building. The room was well appointed with plenty of storage, coffee machine, iron & ironing board etc. Staff so friendly & helpful. We were there as part of the Christmas party night which was honestly the best of its kind, the compère was highly entertaining. Would highly recommend & looking forward to my next visit.

I was put in one of the pods as part of a work training program. The beds are really comfortable and the pods are compact. I was staying for two nights so it would have been nice for my room to have been cleaned/serviced after the first night and water, milk replenished. Other than that the breakfast was great and the location is beautiful

My wife and I stayed at the hotel having been to a nearby wedding the previous day and after a fabulous breakfast played 18 holes on the exceptional course. The weather was good and we really had a good time. The service was second to none and the hotel and our room beautiful Can wait to return again for any excuse we can.

We stayed here as a last minute overnight break and it was amazing! Really good set up and pod was immaculate. Facilities excellent and hot tub brilliant. Staff were great and no issues atall, we will be back!

We visited for my birthday on Friday 21st of November and fell in love with our pod, very modern and cosy for this time of the year, we arrived late as we had work commitments and felt it was rushed a little the Friday so we ended up booking an extta night for the Saturday. If you enjoy nature walks this place is ideal with fields, farms and forest all round. Perth is also only a 10 minute drive. The staff were all very friendly and helpful with anything we needed, breakfast was nice too with plenty of options. We would love to come back sometime, a perfect little relaxing break, thanks again to all the staff who made our stay very welcoming.

We had afternoon tea today. Was amazing. Our sever Adrianna made the experience so much better. She was attentive, friendly and went above and beyond. She is an asset to the team. I would return just for the banter. You are amazing Adrianna keep being you xxx

We stayed for a November weekend in a group of ten. I was extremely satisfied and happy at our overall experience, having recommended the Murrayshall as a venue. It made for variety having both Cairns and Eolas restaurants in which to dine. The more informal style in Cairns came with a fine range of generous and appealing options and Graeme the restaurant Manager was extremely attentive and helpful in dealing with any issues arising. On the Saturday night we had asked for a Champagne reception and this was hosted superbly by Monika in the delightful Library prior to our fine dining dinner over which she again ensured we were well looked after. Many of the choices were complex and innovative and much appreciated only the vegetarian option seeming somewhat sparse. With the fine dining restaurant having brilliant views, it was an excellent place for enjoying breakfast. We found the extensive grounds of the hotel stunning and its proximity to excellent walks and many attractions very convenient. With its warmth, comfort and grandeur and range of rooms along with friendly and excellent service we rated our stay at the Murrayshall very highly.

The room, drive, and service were all fantastic. Sunrise with breakfast was magnificent. Food was good. Drive a bit scary at night, but worth it. Would love to stay here again.

We were a small group of highland classic car tour and we spent our last tour night here. Superb in all counts. The room, the bar, the restaurant, the staff and the setting. It was like heaven on earth with rolling hills painted in pale gold and dark green. We got a room upgrade. Beds were super comfy. All amenities were of high standards. Dinner was very nice and the desserts were to die for. Highly recommended for a romantic get away or for special occasions such like ours.
