Cervical Cancer Awareness Week
January 19 – January 25
WHEN HEALTH CONCERNS BRING EMOTIONAL WEIGHT
A health diagnosis doesn’t only affect the body. It affects your mind, your sleep, your relationships, and your sense of safety.
During Cervical Cancer Awareness Week, we recognize the emotional weight that comes with:
• Fear of test results
• Anxiety before screenings
• Body image changes
• Grief over fertility concerns
• Feeling alone or misunderstood
• Survivor’s guilt
• Trauma from medical procedures
Your emotional wellbeing during health challenges matters. You are allowed to:
• Feel scared.
• Feel angry.
• Feel tired.
• Ask questions.
• Seek counselling.
• Take up space with your emotions.
Healing is not only medical, it is emotional too. If you or someone you love is navigating a health journey, remember: support is not weakness. It is strength.
