Mt Tam Pediatric Dentistry

The Mt. Tam Pediatric Dentistry team made my son's first dentist experience fun and straightforward! The office environment is warm and modern, yet young-at-heart and engaging for kids. Dr. Stephanie and her team have an excellent rapport with kids. They make it fun, easy and explain what's going on in simple terms to which kids can relate. Let's keep this review short. GO SEE DR. STEPHANIE! She's excellent, and we'll absolutely be back in six months for our next check-up!

What a wonderful experience. This is the first time my daughter has been to the dentist and everyone there was so sweet. My daughter sat so patiently and listened to the dental assistant and dentist. There is a TV to watch as an option for the kids as they are getting their teeth cleaned. The dentist even brings in her bunny Milkshake once a week. Also the dentist is very well designed if you are into to that.

My son loves going to the dentist! They make it such a relaxed, fun and comfortable experience. Everyone that works in the office is a delight and great with kids.

Dr. Summer was my son dentist and she was amazing with her work. My son didn’t have a hard time doing his x rays he stayed calm even through his cleaning he did great with dr. Summer.

What a fantastic office, staff, and dentist! From the moment you walk through the door, the office and the staff are calming and welcoming. My kids and I were comfortable from the get-go, and our experience only got better. Dr. Stephanie and her team were kind and funny and had a great rapport with both my kids. Dr. Stephanie discussed treatment options and pros and cons thoroughly and without pressure. And to top it all off, my kids came home and flossed without being asked! We are so glad to have this new, top-notch pediatric dentist in our community!

I cannot recommend them enough. From the initial appointment to the day of my daughter’s treatment, Dr. Stephanie and her assistant was phenomenal. Stephanie patiently listened to our concerns and addressed all our questions. We came to Mt Tam after visiting another pediatric dentist who told us they will only treat my daughter with general anesthesia. Stephanie came up with a treatment plan that seemed best for my daughter and was able to successfully treat my daughter’s cavity without GA. She and her AMAZING assistant(unicorn-tier for working with children) calmed my anxious 6 year old, who I honestly wasn’t sure would be able to sit thru the procedure and worked their magic. Look no further for a solid dentist. She checks all the boxes—credentials, skills, chairside manner, and a pleasant human being :)

MTPD was highly recommended by a friend and rightfully so. The office is very clean, calm, light, bright and child-friendly. The entire staff was warm and professional instantly putting my child and myself at ease. There is an adorable bunny named Milkshake that my toddler loved feeding and plenty of books and engaging toys in the waiting area. The dental exam was fun, interactive for my toddler, informative for me and most importantly fast! I was very happy with our experience from start to finish and I loved that my son had a positive first dentist experience and proudly told his classmates “I had fun at dentist” when he returned to school. We live in SF and I found it was absolutely worth the drive.

We took our 7 and 9 year old for their check up and cleaning. The hygenist was thorough, accommodating and informative. The doctor was also great.

Been going here for almost two years now and love it. All of the staff are incredibly welcoming and friendly. They create the perfect atmosphere for children. Highly recommend.

Took my 3 year old daughter here for her first visit to the dentist and it was an amazing experience. Our daughter is very shy and absolutely hates going into medical environments but she didn’t get upset once. The team was great with her and kept her calm and comfortable the whole time!
