John installed a wood burner and fireplace for us and absolutely thrilled with the result. John was hard working and accommodating when I changed my mind about the width of the fireplace halfway through! He managed to alter the size for me so that I was happy with the result. He was reasonably priced too and I highly recommend him.

Every now and again you come across a professional offering a service and the whole experience from initial chat to the finished job, is an enjoyable one. John Roots is someone I can wholeheartedly recommend for advice, chimney services and new installations. He has provided us with all three and we couldn't be happier. Thank you John. John @Mr Roots Chimneys removed my old fireplace, cleaned out the chimney, lined it, fitted a log burner and repaired the chimney stack. All the work he did was carried out with care, on time and on budget. I couldn’t be happier with his work. All that, and he is a thoroughly nice bloke.

John came out quickly and identified the issue. Really friendly and cheerful chap. Couldn't do enough to help us and even rearrange his time to come back and remedy our problem as I have my 90 year old grandmother in the property. John's level of service, not to mention value for money was first class. We had been totally misslead and ripped off by two other companies prior to his visit. Don't waste your time with major national companies! John's the man for the job!

Mr Roots was professional throughout, he explained everything he was doing and was very transparent about quoting us for the work he did. John didn't try to upsell anything and I feel he charged us a fair price for the work he did. No more wind whistling down our chimney!

John did an excellent job of repairing a really awkward leak on our chimney, he explained why it had leaked and quoted a competitive price for the repair. Clean and effective repair I would recommend John”s work as it has poured down since the repair and now no leaks! Brilliant

John did a great job installing the flue liner for my stove. He's a really friendly guy, organised and prompt. Did the job for a reasonable price, gave me some good advice for free! I can tell he cares about his work. Thanks
