I called late one evening to check on availability after calling several other places in town and needing something affordable yet clean while passing through while moving and hauling a U-Haul trailer with a cat and a dog. Kevin answered and was incredibly helpful and accommodating. When I arrived a short bit later, he immediately came out and helped me park, even moving another vehicle to make space. I was given an adorable quaint and unique room overlooking the river with a cute porch. There is a lovely green outdoor space with horseshoes, sitting areas and just a nice space to walk around. The rooms are lovely and homey. I didn’t feel like I was staying in some basic motel. It was incredibly comfortable and clean. I ended up extending my stay because I liked it so much! I highly recommend this place and would absolutely come back! Support local like the fantastic folks here at Motel del Rogue.

Would rate 10 out of 5 if I could. This place is amazing and an absolute lifesaver on our roadtrip north after a harrowing hotel experience the day prior. Very cozy, beautiful place - feels like a fun quirky relative lending you their cabin. Loved sitting out by the river, even went for a little dip. Bunch of good places to eat nearby. Our cabin had a jacuzzi bath and a little kitchenette. Asked my husband if we could move in here and was only half joking. Wish we could've stayed longer and would definitely go back.

A really good angler could cast and catch salmon from the balcony facing the Roque river. The entire place has a wonderful, charming, old-fashioned feel, something out of the forties, when it was built. Dog friendly. Classic Americana, the way it used to be. I felt we are actors in the movies, waiting for Humphrey Bogart to knock on the door asking for a cup of sugar. Mike Gordon, Paradise, CA 95969

I enjoyed my stay immensely. Great view, cozy room, and I slept better than I have in a long time and woke up refreshed. Sitting on the back deck of my room listening to the river and nature while stargazing was a highlight after long days of travel and meetings. Learned local history from the folks that run it and how they have kept up the tradition of being a welcoming establishment.

Kevin the caretaker is a real gentleman, rare these days in any lodging experience. Will stay here again for sure, awesome location and a 90 year old gem of a motel.

Simply delightful! Warm and welcoming from the host to the cozy cotton quilts and effective heaters. Comfort is clearly valued here. We felt at home and slept great! I am super picky about beds, and this was a rare and shining example of a good one. I've paid twice as much before without getting such a good bed. High thread count sheets too. These folks know what makes things feel good. Nicely set up for a longer stay, though we only needed one night. Gorgeous view of the river. Wonderful big deck with sturdy rail. Super clean and well cared for. Used but comfortable and highly functional furnishings go with the rustic look and help keep this place within our budget while providing far more deluxe accommodation than we would expect for the price. The cat is optional.

We stayed here recently for the second time. I love how I feel when I stay here. It is clean, quiet and feels like visiting an old friend. It is owned by a family that are more than accommodating with any needs or questions you might have. The location on the river is beautiful. We will definitely stay again when we find ourselves in Grants Pass

I had the pleasure of staying at the Motel Del Rogue for two nights before and after a hiking trip. I found it by doing a web search, read all the glowing reviews, and decided to take a chance. I'm so glad I did! The family who owns this motel are all warm and gracious. The rooms are quaint and cozy, with all the amenities I needed for my stay (coffee, anyone?). I got to see a few of the rooms, and they were all decorated in charming vintage pieces. My room had really sweet outside deck for relaxing or river watching. The price was reasonable and I'm now looking for excuses to make a return trip to Grants Pass so I can stay there again.

We really enjoyed our 9 day stay in this quaint cozy place! We had a comfortable bed and a small kitchen. We cooked breakfast most mornings and ate outside on the deck overlooking the river. The bathroom was large with a great shower. Kevin and his family were very nice and helpful. They took great care of us. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in town visiting family!
