What kind of skills does automotive locksmith need in order to make a key for a freightliner truck ?
Most of the time trucks don’t have an immobilizer , means don’t have to program the key in order to start the car , so what makes it so hard ?
You need to have the ability to read the lock and ignition wafers/ tumbler , figure out the spaces and depths of the key and cut the key .
With many other vehicles locksmiths can get a key code for the car and cut and program the key in couple of minutes, but not with trucks /older vehicles /motorcycle /European vehicles.
