Monopolis Board Game Store & Cafe

In my opinion this is the only board game cafe in Jakarta with the most complete playable board games selection. Plus this is also one of the most complete board game stores in Jakarta (if not Indonesia). The food and drinks menu are also nice, though the ambiance is definitely for gaming not eating. For me this is the best board game cafe/store in Jakarta. If you are a board gamer and never been here, you must visit this place, period!

Compare with other board games store I have ever visited, Monopolis has a wide variety of board games you can play with your friends or family. I came here with my friends to play board games and one of my friend who wanted to make a thesis about board games. The game masters are very friendly, they understand the games, very helpful to choose the suitable games for the group and patiently explained the games. The game master also patiently explain about kind of board games that my friend can write for his thesis. I like this place as I can try many different board games. This store is very comfortable with comfy chairs and wide tables. They sell foods and drinks too and the price to play board games is hourly-based or you can play here all day with quite a reasonable price. I recommend coming to this place with friends or family. And if you're a board game enthusiast this is a good place for you. And, I think that visitors here should play different unique board games rather than the popular generic games, as I think it is not worth it to just play monopoly here.

I have tried a lot of Board Game Cafes (in Jaksel, Jakut, Tangerang, Depok). After played in Monopolis, I am certain that this Board Game Cafe gave me the best experience I ever had. My friends & me played Wingspan & Reef for more than 5 hour. The ambience is perfect (good choice of background music & the volume is acceptable), the game master is really helpful & cooperative, and they have various choice of F&B for your hungry tummy. No doubt that we will come again for playing at Monopolis. Thanks a lot!

A very nice place to hangout with family and friends. The place is very clean and spacious, they have various choices of boardgame for us to play. The game master is very nice and patient in explaining each games. They also sell a huge collection of boardgames at a very reasonable price! Overall experience was awesome! Definitely will come back again with more friends!

Many games are there, also they have price tags and no hidden extra cost like VAT or rent tax unlike some other board game stores in the region

My wife and I visited Monopolis today and bought a couple of games from them. Luke's passion towards board gaming is infectious. On top of that he is knowledgeable in this field, and recommended us games based on our collection and taste. Definitely a place for people who are new and seasoned in the hobby.
