Monkey Wrench. Mike and Joe. Thanks for your service on my car. You guys did a great job. Mike always in touch to get your parts and everything and Joe the guy that its hand on. I appreciate this mobile service They can go to your work or home. After they finished my car on same day. I had and issue and called Mike. He sent Joe back in hr and a half and they fix the issue. One week after the job was done I asked them if they can check my car for a sound and they came and checked for me and resolved. They are honest with the price and everything. If you need to trust your car to Monkey Wrench you won’t regret. Thanks guys.

*Updated* During this Volvo repair, they also spilled some sort of fluid the paver driveway of my new build home. They offered to fix it, came by twice to clean it. But it never came out. The owner called and even offered to replace the pavers, but then stopped responding. They also promised me a 10% lifetime discount due to the paver issue. When I followed up on an at home oil change, they quoted me over $240 for an oil change. The team at Monkey Wrench did a great job with our at-home repair. They installed rotors and brake pads on my Volvo. They were courteous, friendly and quickly made the repair. Since I work from home, having the repair team come to me makes it a lot easier!

Family van died overnight in the Home Depot parking lot. The alternator was bad I scheduled an appointment for the morning. Mechanic showed up did his diagnostic and a few hours later had the alternator replaced in the parking lot! Great service respectful and very nice mechanic. Thank you for getting us back on the road.

The folks over at Monkey wrench got me in to have my vehicle with its overly complex and the very dead battery taken care of same day. They were extreordinalrily professional, timely, courteous, and communicative. 10/10 would recommend

Drilled out spark plug hole i stalled new insert new plug wire and coil. They were there next day and took care of business!! Price was reasonable thank you for the prompt service because I own a business.

Predatory Pricing for Incompetent Work I paid Monkey Wrench $185.00 for a "diagnostic" on my 2022 Tahoe. The technician was only here for about 15 minutes. He used a scanner, then popped the hood and put a wrench on the motor. He immediately told me my engine was "locked up/seized" and needed a total replacement. I had the truck towed to AutoNation Chevrolet for a second opinion. They confirmed the engine is perfectly fine. The issue was just a seized water pump, which was holding the belt and preventing the engine from turning. Monkey Wrench’s lazy 15-minute "diagnosis" could have cost me $15,000 to replace an engine that didn't need it. A scanner doesn't catch a mechanical pump failure; a real mechanic would have checked the belt. Do not trust them; they are looking for a quick buck and gave me a false "death sentence" for my vehicle, which caused my family extreme stress. What makes this even worse is that their shop is literally 4 minutes (less than 2 miles) from my house. Charging $185.00 to drive around the corner and give a false diagnosis is outrageous. He didn't even perform a basic check by removing the serpentine belt to see if an accessory was locking the system. He also promised an updated invoice that I never received. Save your money and go to a real shop.

4 different mechanics. I sent my old diesel to 4 different mechanics, each of them stated with confidence they could fix my truck. None of them came through. I was ready to take a massive loss on my truck until I met the owner of Monkey Wrench. In just 3 weeks, working out of one of their mobile service vans, these guys did what 4 different mechanics, with fully equipped shops couldn’t do in 3 years. Don’t get that wrong, Monkey has a fully equipped shop, they simply didn’t need it. Their mobile division is stellar! The owner is honest! And I am very thankful to have a reliable mechanic again!!

I really wanted to like the service! Gave them a couple tries. No luck unfortunately. 1st service - Back in March 2025 I called in for an oil change, they said they don’t often do that but they could help. They charged me a premium price of $150 (I get it, the convenience of being home is worth it). They changed my oil but the tech didn’t have any coolant to top off my car, he told me I should go buy some at autozone and fill it up. I figured I’m paying $150 I’d expect them to provide a full service. I called in they said the best they could do is offer me a future credit. 2nd service - AC went out, I set an appointment online at 9AM. I called them the morning of to explain the situation and make sure they had my address, they confirmed but said the tech is late won’t be there until 10-11. Tech shows up at 1:30PM.. Checks out my car says he needs to do a smoke test to find the leak.. The office calls me and says they need to bill me for another $185 on top of the $185 initial inspection they first charged because now he has to go get more equipment to further test. I reluctantly say okay, the tech leaves and comes back almost 2 hours later. Does the smoke test can’t find any leak… so now the guy from the office calls me, says alright we couldn’t find the leak, so now we need to order $500 worth of refrigerant so here I am sitting at $900 and they don’t even know what’s going on. I decided this doesn’t feel right and to part ways with them. I asked for their general manager to reach out to me, the operator at the office said “Okay, his name is Jake he will call in less than an hour” and as we all could have guessed, I never received a call. Ultimately I’m sure Monkey Wrench does a fine job, their pricing was honest in terms of refrigerant costs, just the way it was all handled just felt like such a scam. I really wanted to like their services but both times ended with me telling myself I shouldn’t use them again.

Monkey Wrench Auto is outstanding, both for their mobile and in-shop services! Their mobile team was fast, reliable, and incredibly convenient—I just handed over my keys, and they worked their magic while I went on with my day. Their in-shop services are just as impressive, with quick turnaround and top-notch quality. Whether you need them to come to you or prefer dropping by their shop, they make vehicle maintenance a breeze. Highly recommend either service.

I really don’t trust many car repair places, because you know many have an undesirable reputation. However; I can attest that Monkey Wrench has earned my trust. I have taken my suv there several times & Eric is amazing! He listens to my concerns, addresses the situation & focuses on the solution! John is also good, he serviced my suv previously. My son told me about them & he’s a hard sale as well! So, if you need car repairs, call them! Don’t wait!
