Moira Lake Motel, RV & Campground

I spent 3 days here with my husband and our two children, and what a wonderful experience! We really enjoyed our stay. I even picked some figs from the fig tree in the backyard, and while I was there, I met Adriana. She was so kind and even brought me a delicious snack, which was such a lovely surprise. One thing that really stood out to me was the people who work here. You can tell they genuinely care about what they do and about making guests feel welcome. It doesn't feel like they are just doing a job for the money — they really seem to enjoy taking care of the place and the people staying here. I also felt very comfortable and safe with my family. You don't see people hanging around doing drugs, drinking, causing trouble, or bothering other guests and their vehicles, which unfortunately I have experienced at some other motels. Of course, no place is absolutely perfect, and every property can have small things that could be improved. But honestly, the little things I noticed here were very minor compared with many other places I've stayed. My family and I had a great experience, and I would definitely stay here again. I highly recommend this place, especially for families looking for a clean, peaceful, welcoming and comfortable stay. Thank you for making our 3 days so enjoyable! ❤️

We enjoyed a great stay at The Moira Lake Motel. The room was very clean and comfortable and the kitchen was especially handy for preparing meals before heading out to explore the area. Hosts Adriana and Tammy were very responsive and friendly. I highly recommend staying here and we're looking forward to returning!

Absolutely amazing customer service. Me and my husband wanted to spend the night there but I accidentally booked the next weekend instead of the current day on online booking. So even though we didn't end up being able to stay due to being fully book they were so gracious in giving us a refund for my mistake even though they had a no refund policy. We come this way yearly and will definitely keep them in mind for our next stay. 10/10 recommend!

The bed was comfortable and clean. We tried to use the blow dryer, but it didn't work. We had trouble with the TV and called for instructions, I was told that someone would be there in 20 minutes. No one showed up. There was a kitchenette and coffee maker, but no complimentary coffee.

I had an amazing stay and Adriana was more than helpful. The room was nicely upgraded and it felt more like a hotel room than just a motel. The stay was more than comfortable as the room was fitted with a full kitchenette and an upgraded bathroom. I will be staying here again. Thank you Adriana

This place is fantastic, the rooms are spotless and very high quality. Whoever did the renovations knows what theyre doing! Adrianna is a fantastic host and went above and beyond for us on multiple occasions, highly appreciated! Very much so recommend this place.

This was the perfect stop on my way to Algonquin NP. The room was very well appointed, the shower in particular was on point. I was too tired to get back on my bike for dinner so having the kitchenette to at least heat up some camp food was great.

We needed a place to stay last second and found a gem and Adriana was kind and gracious checking us in so late in the evening. The motel is excellent — it has all the amenities you need, including a full kitchen, bathroom, and fridge. The rooms are spotless, and the beds are comfortable!

Scam Alert‼️‼️‼️ Beware of this motel. I booked through Airbnb, only to be told by staff that they wouldn’t honor my reservation because the Airbnb price was “too cheap.” Instead, they asked me to cancel and rebook directly through their website at expensive price. To make it even worse, the exact same property had multiple listings with different prices. This kind of bait-and-switch behavior is completely unacceptable and a huge waste of people’s time. If you don’t want to honor Airbnb prices, don’t list there in the first place. Be transparent, be honest, and respect your customers. Your customer care representative is so rude, very disrespectful lady.
