Moira Lake Motel, RV & Campground

I spent 3 days here with my husband and our two children, and what a wonderful experience! We really enjoyed our stay. I even picked some figs from the fig tree in the backyard, and while I was there, I met Adriana. She was so kind and even brought me a delicious snack, which was such a lovely surprise. One thing that really stood out to me was the people who work here. You can tell they genuinely care about what they do and about making guests feel welcome. It doesn't feel like they are just doing a job for the money — they really seem to enjoy taking care of the place and the people staying here. I also felt very comfortable and safe with my family. You don't see people hanging around doing drugs, drinking, causing trouble, or bothering other guests and their vehicles, which unfortunately I have experienced at some other motels. Of course, no place is absolutely perfect, and every property can have small things that could be improved. But honestly, the little things I noticed here were very minor compared with many other places I've stayed. My family and I had a great experience, and I would definitely stay here again. I highly recommend this place, especially for families looking for a clean, peaceful, welcoming and comfortable stay. Thank you for making our 3 days so enjoyable! ❤️

We enjoyed a great stay at The Moira Lake Motel. The room was very clean and comfortable and the kitchen was especially handy for preparing meals before heading out to explore the area. Hosts Adriana and Tammy were very responsive and friendly. I highly recommend staying here and we're looking forward to returning!

We arrived early and were met by a very friendly motel clerk who checked to see if our room was ready. Lucky for us we had an early check-in after a long drive. Our room was very clean and obviously newly renovated. Full size (very, very quiet) refrigerator and full-size stove. Cute tiny dishwasher along with a large high end microwave. Newly painted, with comfortable beds and a lovely bathroom with a large walk-in shower. Handy hair blow-dryer on the wall as well as a magnifying mirror. Our room was very quiet and backed onto a playground as well as numerous fire pits available for your use. Lovely to look out the large back window and see the woods. Felt like being at the cottage. Great spot for a few nights or more.

What a wonderful place to stay, a true hidden gem! The rooms have been wonderfully updated, they're clean, nice, cozy, and it is very convenient to have a fridge, stove, sink, microwave, and dishware in your room. The property itself is lovely too with fire pits and a small playground and is very quiet even right beside highway 7. On the day I arrived there was heavy rain that had some dirt splash up onto the deck chairs. The following day, I noticed that all the chairs had been wiped clean which I thought was an excellent attention to detail and spoke of how well maintained everything is. I also accidentally forgot a personal item and they contacted me promptly when they found it and held the item for me until I could pick it up which I was very appreciative of. I highly recommend the Moira Lake Motel for the wonderful property, the kind and personable staff, and a very pleasant stay. I am often in this area and I will absolutely be returning to stay again!

Loved this motel. Highly recommend it. So clean and nice and we arrived late and could access the rooms via lockbox which was super convenient. I will definitely stay here again when I'm in the area.

Absolutely amazing customer service. Me and my husband wanted to spend the night there but I accidentally booked the next weekend instead of the current day on online booking. So even though we didn't end up being able to stay due to being fully book they were so gracious in giving us a refund for my mistake even though they had a no refund policy. We come this way yearly and will definitely keep them in mind for our next stay. 10/10 recommend!

This place is fantastic, the rooms are spotless and very high quality. Whoever did the renovations knows what theyre doing! Adrianna is a fantastic host and went above and beyond for us on multiple occasions, highly appreciated! Very much so recommend this place.

This was the perfect stop on my way to Algonquin NP. The room was very well appointed, the shower in particular was on point. I was too tired to get back on my bike for dinner so having the kitchenette to at least heat up some camp food was great.

Very nice location with all that you need for a great stay. The room was in immaculate condition and well renovated. The host Tammy was also so welcoming. Will definitely book again for another trip!

This motel is a gem! Much nicer and more modern than we could have hoped for. Adriana is friendly, responsive to questions and requests, efficient and thorough! The room and amenities are so well-kept! Very clean! Has a full kitchen, dishwasher and with a big fridge The wifi signal is strong! We would definitely come back here! Adriana also made an excellent recommendation of where to eat in the area that is great for the family! We are only here for a short stay but definitely comfortable for a family to stay for longer.
