September 2025 Our kitchen cabinets hadn’t been changed in 30 years. They were well-made, but they had yellowed and looked horrible. We were told numerous times that they couldn’t be painted, so we pursued other options. All options were extremely disruptive, messy, expensive or had long lead times. We decided to investigate refinishing/painting to see if things had changed. We were hoping that with advances in paint quality, maybe it was now possible to paint them. To our immense pleasure, we found Mo at Modern Cabinet Painting. Mo came over and told us that he could refinish and paint our cabinets and that they would look great. We got four other quotes, but selected Mo. We were impressed with his confidence and experience. He seemed trustworthy and his quote was cost efficient. He did not let us down. He worked hard over a couple of days … removing our cabinet doors, taking them to the shop for cleaning, sanding, priming and painting, masking our entire kitchen for hours so he could spray paint the trim and exteriors of the cabinets, returning the cabinets and installing them. We were blown away by his hard work, attention to detail and work ethic. It’s obvious that Mo loves his job and we are thrilled with the result. We now have a beautiful, bright, modern kitchen and it cost us about a quarter of what we would have paid had we demolished everything … and it didn’t take months to do. Mo stands by his work and offers a 10-year guarantee. He also left us some paint for touch ups, just in case. We highly recommend Mo if you want to update your kitchen or bathroom cabinets … quality work for much less than the cost of demolition and in less time.
