Scheduled a visit through an online service that contracted with Brendon, the owner. He came to my home, unannounced, to tell me that the online service keeps referring him business, but they've never paid him in several months. Offered to work on my JDeere rider directly avoiding any cross referral issues...cancelled the online appointment (they never charged me, but attempted to collect for service.) Within 10 minutes, Brendon diagnosed the problem and fixed it. Also did some minor maintenance and recommended other for me to do. Thrilled with the service. Seems competent and inquisitive, knowledgeable in small engines, experienced mechanic. And a nice kid trying to make a go of it on his own. Good attitude, work ethic and integrity. I'll use him again, for sure!
