Mighty Men Movers MS

We have requested Mighty Movers services before and was really pleased so quite naturally our expectations were high going into using them again for this recent move. Three men showed up but only two men really worked. The white mover immediately came in telling me what he couldn’t move and asked me to haul my TVs in my personal vehicle. He also hassled me about not being able to take my washer due to not having enough strength to remove it from water valve. He took a smoke break inside (which was highly disrespectful). He also refused to haul my 6ft fiddle leaf fig plant. Thankfully the other guys were understanding and was able to safely secure it and move it. This guy seemed lazy and not fit for the job. Moving is stressful enough without the people you hired making it worse. I do appreciate the two other guys that were very helpful and honestly just pleasant to speak to. They did extra work and I am very grateful for that so I’m giving 4 stars on their behalf.

Absolutely Phenomenal Moving Experience – 10/10 Recommend! This was my very first time using professional movers, and I can confidently say that Mighty Men Movers in Gulfport, MS blew me away with their professionalism, efficiency, and genuine care throughout the entire process. From the very first call, I spoke with Mr. James, who was extremely helpful and made the entire planning process a breeze. He walked me through everything clearly and ensured every detail was understood well before moving day. I felt confident and prepared even before a single box was touched! When moving day arrived, Brieyon & Brandon showed up—and let me tell you, these guys are top-tier professionals with absolutely outstanding attitudes. They were friendly, fast, focused, and incredibly respectful of my home and belongings. They navigated flights of stairs like pros, carefully moving every piece of furniture without a single bump or scratch. One of the standout moments? We weren’t taking our washer and dryer with us, and without even being asked, they went ahead and brought them downstairs for us—just to be helpful. That level of thoughtfulness and initiative speaks volumes. Throughout the move, they communicated clearly, checked in frequently to make sure items were placed exactly where I wanted, and stayed completely on task the entire time. They charge by the hour and based on the number of movers needed—but let me be clear: they do NOT waste time. They were efficient, fast, and still incredibly careful. The entire process was smooth, the price was more than fair, and best of all, I didn’t feel stressed at all—which is saying something when it comes to moving! If you're even thinking about hiring movers, do yourself a favor and call Mighty Men Movers. I cannot recommend them highly enough. We had a multi house (3) move with things going into storage until all houses sold and buy new house. They came with 6 people when only quoted for 4. It took 2 1/2 hours for 6 men to move 3 rooms and broke 3 pieces before they were even out of my house. So $1000 later for 3 rooms and at least 3 broken items…… Went to file claim and they wanted pictures, well it’s all buried in storage room so can’t get to them to take pictures. I choose another moving company for the rest of the jobs. Go to get what mighty men moved into Storagr and find 4 more things broken. 70” inch tv, glass panel on curio they wrapped, back mirror of china cabinet they wrapped and leg on end table. File claim and all denied. Has to be filed in 14 days. They new from gate it would be longer than that before move was finished. Don’t cover anything with pressed wood, well it’s not all pressed wood and broke before it left my house and your employees assured me they would replace it. Other items I looked up prices to fix. Not asking for full replacement. One is a family heirloom so not replaceable. Two we fixed ourselves (the end tables). All they offered was .60 a pound. I’m not sure how I would weigh and I’m not bothering. Other movers had 3 guys for $100 an hour and worked 25 hours for 2,500 and did two entire houses without breaking a thing. Mighty men are not worth the time or money.

I had an excellent experience with this moving team, Brandon, Christopher, and Brieyon. They arrived on time, worked quickly but carefully, and handled all my belongings with great care. They checked in with me throughout the move to make sure everything was placed where I wanted, and communicated clearly every step of the way. The whole process was smooth, the price was fair, and I would definitely use them again!

Our family has used this company multiple times. They are very organized, efficient, and quick. Compared to other moving companies, their fees are very reasonable. Highly recommended.

I have used mighty men movers three times now and you will not find a better price. They do charge by the hour and movers required of the job, however, they are proficient and do not drag their feet. Every crew I have had has worked their butts off. I want to thank the owner Mr Wilson and crew members for the last few moves, Thank you: Danny, Brandon, Shay, Shawn, and Jeremy. You guys are the best!!

My husband and I used Mighty Men to handle our furniture and other large items (including a chicken coop!). Christopher, Jeremy and Brandon were simply amazing. We have moved many times and these guys made it so easy! They were prompt, courteous and FAST! We are so pleased with their excellent service and definitely, without a doubt, recommend them. Had these guys moves us, and man they worked hard. Very affordable price, and the movers were diligent in getting the job done in as little time as needed. Fast, affordable, and they moved some pretty heavy stuff and made it look effortless. Had a little mishap with a piece of furniture, but Mr Wilson was understanding and willing to help in the claims process. Would definitely recommend to anyone for a move.

I just want to give Mr. Wilson and his staff curios for being very professional. Affordable pricing for my move from MS to NC. Chris and Daniel were super packers. They packed the 20 ft U-Haul tight like I asked them. When I arrived at storage in NC nothing had shifted. I have used Mr. Wilson numerous times over the last 6 yrs and have never had a bad experience. I highly recommend them. Thanks guys for other good experience!
