One of the best compliments I ever received was not about price.
It was about stress.
A client once told me they could not have done it without me. That I took the stress out of the entire process.
That means more to me than any commission number.
Yes, real estate commissions can be significant. Ten thousand dollars. Twenty five thousand. Sometimes more, depending on the property.
But what clients consistently tell me is that they feel the value. They feel protected. They feel guided.
When someone says you were worth every penny, what they are really saying is you made this manageable.
I have built friendships through this work. There are past clients I still meet for lunch regularly. Not because we have another deal pending. Because we genuinely enjoy each other.
Real estate is a transaction.
But it is also a life moment. A transition. A big decision wrapped in emotion and logistics.
If I can remove anxiety, bring clarity, and deliver results with integrity, that is the highest compliment I can receive.
And that is the standard I hold myself to every time.
