We had a very small hose on a well pump with pin holes leaking. I explained that is very small and the part is very cheap. Austin came out and explained that is a water line and would cost over $500 to repair plus the $99 service call. I told him we couldn't afford that for a part that we could get at Auto Zone or Lowe's for maybe $5. My mom is in home hospice and I'm a disabled veteran. He lowered it $289 plus the $99 service call. Since I couldn't leave my mom to look for the part, I had no choice but to pay it. It literally took 30 seconds to exchange the hose. I knew exactly what needed to be done and told him what needed to be done etc. I do NOT recommend them. While I appreciate the 10% veteran discount and lowering the price somewhat but honestly, this job took 30 seconds and a part that was maybe $3 and basically me telling him what to do. This is what was repaired for $350. The hose still needs to be cut shorter and not hanging down so I'll have do that myself. Steer clear unless you seriously want to overpay and still have to do things yourself!

Austin and Philip with Michael shaver plumbing were amazing!!! Super nice guys. I knew what steps were going on all day. I was always informed. They worked hard and got it all working great!!! It’s super nice to see kind respectful guys when you are stressed and upset about the broken sewer lines. I called Michael shaver plumbing and they got me on the books and fixed within a couple days!! If you have plumbing issues call them first!!!

I thought the pump in my septic take was shot so called to have the tank pumped and a new pump installed. Austin arrived on time and after some brief troubleshooting advised us the pump was fine and it was a faulty float. After bypassing the float the tank drained and he was able to replace the float. He went above and beyond to get us up and running. They could have easily charged me a lot more for services I didn't need. I appreciate the honesty.

We called Michael Shaver in a pinch when the city told us we had a bad water leak. When on the phone, there was no discussion of how much a service fee may cost, a minimum cost to repair pipes, etc. We had already located the leak and had it marked, so the next morning, all the tech had to do was dig into the ground (not far at all), replace the pipe (not even 2 foot) and fill it back in. Wasn’t even there the full 2 hours we had scheduled. That’s when they decided to tell us it would be $850. I don’t mind the service call fee, or even the $125 just to dig a hole. But it was $650 minimum for pipe under 2 foot?? Obviously we didn’t have the money on hand, but the tech assured us that we could pay online anytime once we had the invoice and login info. They then issued an automatic late fee because we didn’t pay the tech immediately, even though he assured us it would be fine. Then, when I called to discuss getting the account changed into my name (it was previously another family member), the woman on the phone got a bad attitude, was very snippy, and overall just rude. I then asked her about being able to get my login info so i could pay online and about getting an invoice (I still hadn’t received one, and didn’t want to pay without seeing what we were charged first). I also asked about the late fee, as I thought maybe we had a balance from before we transferred the account. That’s when she told me that if we didn’t pay the tech while they were there, it was automatically late, and there was no fixing it. I then asked if there was anyway to maybe do payments, as $850 is a lot at once. She got even more rude and snippy when I asked this, so I told her I’d figure it out, and hung up. Such poor customer service, communication, and overall experience. Wouldn’t recommend to literally anyone.

I used Michael Shaver plumbing to replace 90% of the plumbing in my house a few months ago, and it is beautiful work and was fairly priced. Today, I had Austin come back out to check on a toilet leak. It's a broken tank, so I need a replacement. I wouldn't choose any other company for this work! Austin is an amazing tech and a kind person. I strongly recommend both this company and Austin for all your plumbing needs.

We recently had Philip and Devon install our new water softener and set the pressure for our water, and they were absolutely fantastic from start to finish. They arrived right on time, were professional yet friendly, and clearly knew exactly what they were doing. They explained everything in simple terms, answered all of our questions, and made sure we were comfortable with how the system worked before leaving. The installation was done neatly and efficiently, and the difference in our water quality and pressure was noticeable right away. It’s rare to find a team that combines skill, professionalism, and great customer service like this — Philip and Devine truly went above and beyond. We couldn’t be happier with their work and highly recommend them to anyone needing plumbing services.

Jimmy has been our tech both times we have called Michael Shaver Plumbing, and we couldn’t have asked for a better one! Friendly and professional, our issues have been resolved quickly and thoroughly. Without ever applying one ounce of pressure, Jimmy has made us aware of issues that exist that we might want to address in the future. I am very happy with both of our experiences with Michael Shaver Plumbing and would not hesitate to use them again and would highly recommend them to anyone!

Austin & Mike were great! Extremely pleasant to deal with; professional & efficient. Next time I’ve gotta plumbing job that needs attention (always “when,”not “if”), I want these guys to be the ones that show up!

I have been a licensed contractor for over 30 years. I sent this company up to a rental property due to us not having time to get up there and told the renter to give them permission to take care of what he needed done at that time to fix his leak. It was a PVC fitting that cost less than one dollar They was there for a total of 10 minutes and charged $550. I totally respect and understand that they have insurances and license costs to run their business. I do as well, but I assure you. That this was price gouging as good as it gets. I called two or three other plumbing companies and said the max they would have charged for this exact same job couldn’t have been over $175. I don’t mind paying a fair price but would never recommend or trust them or refer them for any job Again.
