We had a blast with Capt. Matt Miranda and Billy! They worked hard to put us on fish and it was amazing. Catching 150+ pound tuna on top water is unreal. The gear was top notch and the boat was amazing!! We will definitely be back fishing with him again!

Captain Matt and his deckhand Billy were outstanding, providing an exceptional experience from start to finish. We had an early and successful start, and they quickly put us on a significant number of fish. Even with some novices in our group, their expertise shone through. Though our first tuna proved to be a formidable challenge, the crew's guidance and "tricks of the trade" enabled us to land several more in a short time. When the weather took a turn, the captain expertly navigated the boat, which handled the rough waters with impressive capability. We will remember this memorable trip for a long time and are already looking forward to our next one.

Chad took us out February 1 and we had an absolute blast. Chad and Colby are a great team. The Freeman is such a great boat and so comfortable with everyone having their own captain chairs and not on bean bags. Highly recommend and we will be back soon for another trip here soon!

Fishing with the Wells brothers & MGFC is the BEST! This was my 3rd trip fishing for two days each time (certain a 4th is in the future). We target yellowfin and swords each time and they've never let us down. Day one brought 7 tuna ranging from 90-150lbs and day two produced a quick limit of red snapper and a HUGE sword (304lbs!). The sword took 2+ hrs to land, jumped 5 different times, and took 3 gaffs and 5 of us to get in the boat! It was the trip of a lifetime (but we'll try again anyway!). Thanks Wade, Dawson, Seth, and Joseph for another successful outing.

Day 2 with Captain Dawson and First Mate Joseph greatly exceeded expectations. We caught the red snapper limit in the morning and then headed out to find a big sword. Dawson and Joseph put us on a massive swordfish and after a battle of two and half hours, and over a mile from where it was hooked, we pulled a 305-pounder in the boat. The hard work, expertise, and experience of Captain Dawson and First Mate Joseph made all the difference. Sore arms, backs, and shoulders never felt so good. I cannot recommend Captain Dason and his mates highly enough if you want the best blue water fishing experience on the Gulf.

Incredible experience! We didn’t go as far as we wanted. One of the motors decided it didn’t want to work anymore, but we still had three others, and a fun day! Our captain, Jarred and his right hand man, Michael were great! They handled a stressful situation like it wasn’t stressful at all. Look up The Mexican Gulf Fishing Company if you go to Venice., I fully suggest using them. This is our 2nd time to fish with them, and it will happen again soon.

Dawson put us on the tuna and we had a great time. His crew was professional, fun, and courteous. I appreciate you guys taking care of us.

We had an amazing two days fishing with Paul, couldn't ask for a better Captain. The Triple Tail fishing was on fire. See you next year for sure.

If you are on the fence about spending the money for a charter, let me ease your mind. Our captain, Hayden, was very knowledgeable not only in locating fish, but also keeping us out of the weather. A storm front had moved through the previous night and we woke to a cool, windy morning. Hayden ran us smoothly through the chop and kept the boat out of the wind to allow us to efficiently cast for our target fish. We caught our limit of very nice redfish and as a bonus, we filled the live well with sheepshead and a couple of nice flounder. Hayden was very attentive and professional and we would consider it a pleasure to fish with him again.

We want tuna fishing with Joseph and Seth on Sunday. We had a great trip and a great catch! These guys did awesome and ensured we had a great time! We can’t wait to fish with you again! And then the next day we went with cap Keven and had a nouther great day after red snapper and grouper !! And mahi-mahi just great days with Mexican gulf!
