Jose Rivero, DDS – Dental Anesthesiologist - New York sedation

My mother recently underwent a full upper dental implant procedure, and we couldn’t be happier with the care she received from Jose Rivero, the anesthesiologist. He was extremely kind, professional, patient, and attentive throughout the entire experience. My mother is elderly and speaks only Spanish, so having a bilingual anesthesiologist like Mr. Rivero made a tremendous difference. He took the time to explain everything clearly, answer all her questions, and address her concerns about anesthesia, with compassion and understanding. His professionalism and reassuring manner helped her feel comfortable, safe, and at ease throughout the process. We are truly grateful to Jose Rivero for the exceptional care and attention he provided. His dedication, kindness, and professionalism made a lasting impression on our family. We had a wonderful experience with Doctor Rivero who cared for my dad during his procedure. He was kind, reassuring, and made us feel comfortable throughout the entire process. Dr. Rivero called prior to surgery and went over all health issues. The anathesia was administered perfectly and kept me sedated throughout 4 hour surgery where 30 plus teeth were extracted without me experiencing any pain. I awoke from sedation right after surgery was completed. I was in very good hands and I had been a little nervous going in. Dr. Rivero is top rate. I strongly recommend his services.

We have the absolute best experience with this practice. I have a very anxious preteen who is so nervous about having an IV before a major procedure not only did Dr. Rivero our make himself available pre-procedure a few days so that he could discuss with my child (if needed), when we did call him, and my child expressed his fears, Dr. Rivero spoke in a way that sounded so calm, confident and clear with my child that he pretty much alleviated most of my childs anxiety. The practice was even able to accommodate giving my child some pre IV gas (relax gas) to just help calm him down if he wanted it, ans he did. As a parent, I want to share that i was well kept in the loop and prepared for possible outcomes what to expect and what not to expect. There was follow up at home hours later also- they called to check in on my child! I felt completely supported and educated for my child’s well-being. He welcomed us to this procedure with warmth and confidence and felt we completely supported ans heard. In short this practice prioritizes the patient and their needs. They treat humans w dignity and respect. We so so appreciate them their professional clear and composed manner.

Dr. Rivero and Geoff are the best in the business. We've tackled many hard cases together from medically compromised patients to patients that need a lot of attention to have a smooth sedation. Dr. Rivero and Geoff were wonderful during my whole experience! I have a serious higher risk health condition that required extra care and time. Dr. Rivero and Geoff were very thorough, contacting my medical specialists and reviewing all my medical records and medications. And I usually have issues with people finding veins on me during bloodwork, etc but Dr. Rivero found one on the first try and I had a pain free experience, which is rare for me. Grateful that the dentist recommended Dr. Rivero.
