Dave was the single most responsive, personable, & helpful person in our home-buying process. When I told him we were ready to start looking at homes, he encouraged me to send him a handful of listings that we could see the following day, in which he had to drive 45 minutes to my side of town. He was patient with my wife & I, as this was our first time experiencing the home buying process. Our first day we toured 4 houses. The following day we viewed 3 more, and upon viewing the 3rd decided to place an offer at asking price. This is where Dave’s skills as a realtor truly shined most. In person, Dave asked the seller if we submitted a full-priced offer that night, if he would accept. The seller confirmed that he would, but that he had a couple more showings after ours that night. Dave drove home and instantly prepared the offer. We signed right away, and sent to the seller. We found out soon after that the seller had received another offer. Dave suggested adding an appraisal guarantee, which we agreed to. Right after sending the appraisal guarantee, the seller accepted and agreed to sign in the morning, which he did. Our house appraised at value, and the appraisal guarantee didn’t even need to be utilized. We are so grateful that Dave had the motivation, business knowledge, and professionalism to get our offer accepted and signed so quickly after touring the house. In this insane market, you need a realtor that acts fast and has tricks up his sleeve when the deal needs sweetening. Dave is that realtor. In addition, Dave’s referrals for services like inspection, title company, etc were all spot on. We were blown away by the quality of our inspection, and the title company Dave referred us to were also incredible. The only hang up in the whole process was the lender that I chose. I bet if I would’ve chosen the lender that Dave works frequently with, our closing would’ve been EVEN MORE smooth. This man knows what he is doing. We will forever be grateful to Dave for the hard work he put into landing us our home. He was always professional, always on time, always well dressed and prepared with documents, and always in a positive mood. We would hire him again in a second, and would refer him to anyone. We can’t thank you enough, Dave! UPDATE: We hired Dave again. This time to help us sell our starter home. Again, he was always immediate at answering our questions. He drove out see our house (a long way from his home market) and had a nicely written listing up promptly. Showings started on Thursday, and went through Monday afternoon. By Monday afternoon we had three offers - one of them cash. Dave was quick & proficient with executing all paperwork. From the day we first met with Dave at the house to closing day, it was less than one month. We feel an enormous weight off of our shoulders, thanks to Dave. Since he helped us find our forever home, we don't expect to be needing his services again, however we will refer him to any & everyone we know whenever we have the chance. Please hire Dave!
