Merry Maids of Colorado Springs

I’m super clean. I hate having anybody in my house. It just makes me super uncomfortable. So this 5 star review is kind of odd. I recently had some construction done in my basement and the dust was overwhelming and causing me breathing problems. I tried every day for a couple of weeks to get the dust up. Called in Merry Maids to help. Rachel showed up 5 minutes early and verified what was supposed to be done. She has such a pleasant presence and was such a good thorough worker. When she was done she walked me thru to make sure I was happy. She’s awesome. I am so happy with the service provided by Merry Maids. My floors look wonderful.

Got a quote on a move out cleaning of $475, then it turned into $375, then it turned into a flat $65 an hour. For a 1600 sq ft house. Needless to say I did NOT go with Merry Maids this is absurd pricing and I went with another company that came by the same day, gave a quote of $25 an hour, and said they could come by the next day. I would NOT go with Merry Maids, absurdly overpriced, this is at most a 4 hour job, I'm not paying $100+ an hour for someone to clean.

I gifted my daughter with a house cleaning for her birthday. Items on counters were shoved to the side, no cleaning done underneath. The stairs were not vacuumed. Only one garbage can was emptied. Floors were not cleaned. When I called Merry Maids, they were unwilling to work with me to resolve the issues. They said they were there for 4 hours. The house is only a small 2-bedroom unit.

Had a wonderful experience with Merry Maids! From the moment they came out to discuss a quote, to the moment they finished the service they were professional, thorough, and so kind. I couldn’t be happier. Our home is spotless!

They are quick and efficient. Especially, when it was a team of two. I always felt like the got cleaner with two people.

Not sure what we paid for. A list was left out for the cleaner of everything we wanted done. As you can see in my images the toilet wasn’t cleaned. Top of the sink not fully wiped down and the floor not fully mopped. You can see hair in the corner. I would like to also mention this is the second time we have had this issue with this company. The first time the manager sent another cleaner out to clean up after the first attempt. I would not recommend this company or you will have to clean after them since they don’t do it right the first time.

The manager (Patricia or Trisha) told me $80/hour with 2 cleaning ladies, charged me $80 for the 1st cleaning with 2 cleaners for 1 hour of total work. By the 2nd cleaning, the manager informed me that it's $80/hour/person. I learned my lesson to always get a written quote! PS: the 1 and only cleaning that I got done was excellent! Nothing against the cleaners...just a bad manager.

Maria and Abbi did an amazing job! My house sparkled and smelled so good! Would definitely use Meery Maids in the future and would highly recommend you to all my family and friends

2025 Update: I had them for almost 2 years. Service was great at first... they rotate cleaners and they are not all consistent. I wish they had more services like laundry and dishes but maybe it's for the best because they barely kept up with the dusting on a regular basis.

2nd time using Merry Maids and as always they did a terrific job. Got the full move out special so I can clear my rental. Fantastic service and professional cleaners!!!
