I was looking for a bakery to make cupcakes for my daughter's wedding. We are from Wisconsin so we went with someone's recommendation. Dianna was accommodating, friendly and made it easy to order being that we were out of state! My daughter picked 4 flavors (4 dozen), Wedding Day, Lemon, Funfetti, NY Cheesecake. All cupcakes were large size, moist and delicious!! Everyone at the wedding complimented on how amazing they tasted and how beautiful they looked as well!! Highly recommend! If we are ever back in Denver, we will be back. Thank you!!

Ordered my son’s birthday cake from here and it came out amazing! They matched the design I wanted perfectly. Very easy to work with and responsive. Cake was delicious.

We live out of state, and I needed to order a custom cake for my brother’s funeral. The team was quick to answer the phone and address all my questions. When the owner heard the reason behind the order, she personally took it upon herself to decorate the cake. It was such a weight off my shoulders, and the cake turned out perfectly. I would 10/10 recommend this team to anyone in the Denver area!

This bakery is amazing!! They handled my order graciously. Although I am thousands and thousands of miles away in Guam, I was still able to have a birthday cookie cake delivered to my family member all the way there in Denver thanks to this wonderful bakery! Our theme was “golden birthday” and OMG, this cake was decorated so beautifully with cute sprinkles and glitter. I was so happy with how it came out and so was the birthday girl! I am so grateful!! I highly recommend this bakery and I will definitely order from them again and also visit when I travel there later this year!! 💯😍🥰🤩🥳

Wonderful cupcakes. They are a bit aggressive with wanting tips though. The person ringing me up verbally highlighted the tip request screen (for handing me a cupcake 🤨) UPDATE: the vendor response does not make sense and seems a bit overly dramatic. I am aware of gratuity, it shows up on the screen, but usually an employee does not also verbally push for it on top of the normal tip system. If that is your business’s way, so be it 🤷🏽‍♂️

The cake was good I would have liked more cream cheese filling because I loved the flavor. The strawberry cake was good but a little bit dry. They totally got my design, right I love the decoration and the writing. They were extremely helpful with figuring out the size of cake because the original size I wanted was too small for the writing. I appreciated their open communication and quick responses.

Mermaid Bakery provided such amazing service and the most absolutely delicious GLUTEN FREE cake for a graduation! It’s pretty hard to find a bakery that does gluten free, let alone a personalized gluten free cake. The graduate was awestruck over the cake in both decoration & flavor. Half the party didn’t even notice that it was gluten free, it was that good! On top of everything, the service was above and beyond. Diana was super helpful during the consultation! She also was super adaptive during an issue that the venue. Will definitely be a repeat customer!

I had a last minute custom ask and the owner took a late call and made magic happen! She created a beautiful 36 cupcake Flag for us for a corporate event and had it delivered within 20 hours of our call. Thank you so much for the best service, and beautiful and delicious cupcakes!

The best cupcakes ever!! The truest compliment to Jason and Mermaid were that the gluten free dairy free cupcakes we needed to accommodate our allergies were said to be the best cupcakes the wedding guests had ever had!! Jason truly worked with both my allergies and my husband's we are so happy with what we got the cupcakes were amazing!! Thank you!!! I am an out of state bride and we went with Mermaid without tasting the cupcakes and they did not disappoint at all!! Looked great and tasted even better!!

Lost three emails that I sent them to order cupcakes for my birthday. The owner said "sorry I ruined your birthday" and then laughed at me over issue. Incredibly unprofessional. You ruin someone's birthday treats and then you laugh in their face, seriously!?! Will never use this bakery again. Extremely disappointed........ First, half of your response is a lie!!! The only time I cussed was when I hung up. Your staff never offered to wrap up a box for me. A list of flavors was never repeated to me, the staff passed the phone to you because you were the only person who could check for my emails since you were the only one with access to the account, and now your response to my review is to try and blame me and justify you insulting me and laughing. But I'm sure you won't care, since you take no responsibility for your actions and rudeness. And its funny after reading all of the many 1-2 star reviews, you NEVER take responsibility for your actions. You argue and blame the customer always for the issues. I have not seen one instance of you taking responsibility for your own actions consisting of bad customer service or just being a horrible person. Karma will eventually find you, you are a bad business owner and should be avoided at all cost.
