Mentally STRONG

I inquired with them, via text message, and spoke with Lyn. She was super helpful, kind, and prompt, in helping me switch my appointment to a Telehealth appointment. I always receive texts back from these guys/gals very quickly. Honestly, the easiest facility I’ve ever been a patient at. The texting is usually unheard of!… but they actually prefer you send them a text! Plus, they’re very flexible, and nice, with scheduling and rescheduling. 😊

Everyone here is so amazing! I’ve been coming here for 4 years now and I wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else. The people of Mentally Strong hanged my life, from counseling, to medication and the staff who are always there for you if you have questions or need anything. I spoke with Lyn earlier, I had a lot going on and she was able to reassure me and help me with such kindness and compassion. This one’s for you Lyn! I love you guys!

Front desk is quick and efficient. They do a great job. The counselors (mine) is exceptional. My prescriber if very knowledgeable and efficient. They insurance piece sucks. They can't do long term care due to $. But they do keep you on in shorter slots. But it is still worth it!

This place is an amazing mental health clinic. Its always easy to get an appointment that fits your schedule, and they always have availability if you need an appointment within a timely manner. They offer walk in appointments, and these have saved me so many times during my mental health journey, and the text line is incredibly convenient, shout out to Rhea! Everybody on staff is terrific and always upbeat, which makes the experience that much better. Courtney is my main provider, she is awesome, and so is every provider I've seen in between during walk ins. If youre looking for a great mental health clinic, this is the place!

I’ve been going to Mentally Strong about two years now and when I first started going, I would recommend a to absolutely everybody. It was so great. It had the best counselors and providers now every time I go back, I’m consistently disappointed every good person that’s worked there has either left or only works one or two days a week so you can’t really see them. Recently, I texted the front desk, which is their preferred way of communication and I didn’t get a reply for a week and I had already scheduled somewhere else. It didn’t used to be like this, I don’t know what’s wrong or why everybody has left, but I’ve also heard it from other people there that this place has just absolutely gone downhill. If you need immediate help to walk in this place is fantastic. I’ve never seen any other place to do that and if your in a crisis 100%, but if you’re looking for primary, mental health clinics I would recommend looking elsewhere

I loved Mentally STRONG when I first started coming here. The staff was amazing, my counselor was amazing, and everything always went smoothly. I felt heard, seen, and respected. However, everything went down hill after my counselor either quit unexpectedly or was fired. Then, staff completely changed, and I don’t recognize anyone when I come in. Most recently, my friend was failed by this location, and she had to find a new provider. And now I have been failed by this location as well. My meds are on auto refill every month, but for some reason, my provider denied them with zero explanation, then of course was out of the office immediately the next day. The best part of this is that I only have enough meds to get me through the weekend, so if there is not a quick solution on Monday, I will be going without. The texting was responsive like everyone has said in recent reviews, but they did not offer any solutions. I work full time, so I cannot just leave my job and go to the office, and this kept being suggested even after I stated this was not a possibility. I am highly disappointed in what Mentally STRONG has become. New patients might love this new system, but as someone who has been a patient for a while, I see a clear difference in the care of patients AND staff.

Irina is a gem! Seriously. I’ve been to many therapists and many providers but this take on counseling and therapy is so different and effective! Irina was very kind and soft spoken but firm and confident in her words. I appreciate Mentally STRONG helping me get out of my mind and provide real counseling to those in need.

Our family had the best experience at Mentally Strong. Irina is the best counselor ever, I would recommend her for anyone. She is kind, knowledgeable, consistent, professional, and easy to talk to. She is able to both make you feel comfortable as well and challenge your ideology in the areas you need. It’s rare to find someone this wonderful in healthcare.

Extremely hard to get in touch with anyone there when you need it. I am an existing patient and plan to hopefully swap psychiatrists ASAP. They dont do a good job at accomodating people with disabilities that make it hard to get to the clinic, with odd times for walk-ins and extremely poor times between responses from their text-based response team. For example i have narcolepsy and it makes it hard to get to the clinic for scheduled appointments for my medication, so walk ins are best for me. Every time i text to see if they have my medication ready or when my next appointment for me if they do schedule it, they take hours to often days to even reply. It isnt helpful at all, and its hard to call them, as it goes straight to voice mail and they dont pick up the phone. Only good thing is the staff that do the injections are nice, honestly.
