I cannot comment on material quality because I ended up not purchising was I wanted. I am astounded by the arrogance with which I have been serviced. I call few days before to enquire about a product advertised on their website to ensure they had it. I drove 30' to purchase and collect. I got there at 2:50pm. I went to the office and I explained what I wanted to purchase. I have been told "they guys will bring it to you", and kept writing on his notepad. I was wodering "how the guys know if you don't tell them?". I however kept quiet. An older man (maybe the owner) came in the office. They had a quick word in a foreign language and the younger guy went to the guys. The older man told me "they are having lunch", period. I waited few minutes while hearing guys chatting in the adjacent room. I then politely said "I am sorry but I am in a bit of a rush...". He didn't let me finish the sentence when he replied "I said the guys are having lunch! Let them finish". I said "wow!" and I left. ARROGANCE !!!!!!! You can drag your conclusions.

We really appreciated the friendly and professional service. AJ was kind enough to let us pick up materials on a Sunday, even though it was outside their normal trading hours. Highly recommend! Thanks! Kaleb & Rebecca

Prices looked great, but sadly the delivered product dismally failed to live up to expectations. The treated pine timber was evidently what was left on the shelf or otherwise unsellable with defects I would never have accepted if I collected in person, so it was palmed off to my remote delivery. Much worse though was the spotted gum decking pack - sooooooo many short and extra-short lengths. Melbourne Timber Supplies' excuse? "You never ordered any set lengths so we can’t do much about it. We do not make them and we can not tell Parkside mill what lengths to pack in a pack of decking. We did not open the pack". Wow. So selling a product sight-unseen when I simply requested decking for a 10m x 40m space. They refuse to accept there's an issue, and won't even partially refund to offset the huge wastage from all those short lengths. This one is off to VCAT I'm afraid. Be warned. Select and pick up in person or you'll get the dregs. Best avoided all round, there are better suppliers with better standards & morals.

Ordered decking of specific lengths. Amit emailed order confirmation 31st October and advised we would receive a call sometime that day or the following morning to have delivered today (1st Nov). No phone call! I called the company at lunchtime to find out where our delivery was only to be advised by AJ that Amit was suppose to call as they didn't have the lengths in stock, despite a confirmation of order with specific lengths listed and would not have this stock for another 2 or 3 weeks. When asked why we weren't contacted, AJ couldn't answer! From the onset, when ordering the wood we advised we needed it by the end of the week and twice confirmed the lengths we needed. We were told it was available and delivery would be arranged for the following day. Had I not called to follow up where our stock was, we would still be waiting! How can a company confirm an order and not deliver? Good business practice is to check you have your items in stock before you confirm an order and advise of next day delivery! Appalling service. AVOID!!! UPDATE: After posting review, we were contacted a number of times by Amit stating he would guarantee to get stock and deliver by Friday. Back and forth communication with assurance that he had the stock from another warehouse. When i contacted him today to determine delivery time he advised AJ would call. AJ called and said he didn't have the stock afterall. AJ was rude and dismissive. Avoid this company at all costs; they just give you the run around. Luckily we found an honest company that accommodated us immediately.

Absolutely disgusting the customer service at this store. The Individual picked up the phone 11am 13/01/25 like I called him at home on his day off. I asked him a couple questions about some material I needed and he hung up. I would never recommended this place to anyone. Second bad experience here

asked the guys if what i wanted was in stock and if i was able to come pick up. they said it was in stock so i travelled to Deer Park to pick up. unfortunatley not in stock. what a waste of time.

Avoid like the plague! Unprofessional, untrustworthy and blatant liars. We paid for timber and they sold it to someone else. They then tried to sell us lesser quality timber. Over two month's later and they still didn't have the timber we paid for, despite constantly telling us it would arrive. Don't waste your time with these people.

The team here were really helpful despite being visibly quite busy, I've bought here a few times now and always happy with the quality of the decking boards and pricing.

If you are after an excellent and trustworthy customer service, I highly recommend them. All my transactions were over the phone but I received commendable service. Amit was always contactable. The delivery was extremely quick and the quality of timber was good. The delivery staff were prompt, kind and courteous. The price was competitive too. I needed good quality timber and Amit made sure I got what I wanted. I don’t think any other business would be able to outdo their quality of service. Thank you very much Amit.
