This place is amazing. Highest quality mattresses you can find made right here in Australia. I can’t believe how good the product is. When my wife sent me the info I was skeptical but this mattress is so much better than our bed in a box we previously had. They can also customise the firmness easily and have a comfort swap guarantee which we used. My tip would be these mattresses run on the firmer side so if you order a “soft” in this brand it’s what I would call a medium firmness in another brand. Not an issue just good to know. Delivery was super fast we ordered and they had it delivered within 2-3 days. Service at the showroom is also exceptional you get to meet the bloke who actually makes the mattresses and he is great with helping explain and customise your order. We paid $1500 for what would easily cost me 5000-7000 at a retailer. Highly recommended.

Wonderful mattresses, 2nd time buyer. Instead of a king bed we went with 2 Long King Latex singles (Medium feel) zipped together. Scott, delivered and installed, I found the medium a little too firm, so Scott came out and replaced my King Long with a softer foam, I don’t feel my husband move at all. Excellent service and product.

Amazing purchase process throughout, Scott was very busy on one of the hottest days in Melbourne to get deliveries out & made time for me to test some mattresses & bed bases. Assured and answered for me of all the questions I had. The services offered were exactly as advertised and he communicated well throughout the entire process. Delivery done today on yet another scorching day and Scott did the delivery, assembly and moving himself (my arm was/is injured). Much appreciated, pleasant, professional and humorous gentleman who is very well experienced from all his movement and actions. TL:DR - I just had the first night's sleep in years where I woke up feeling really amazing. Great experience, very reasonable pricing and a fantastic bed. Upgrading to a king-size mattress was a long time coming, and once it dawned on me that my old mattress was slowly injuring me, so I put in a lot of time and research into finding a new one. How I found MMF: I saw a Reddit thread in r/melbourne where someone said they bought their bed from Melbourne Mattress Factory and was extremely happy with it. I liked that they were family-owned and made in Melbourne, so I made the hour drive over. In-store experience: The showroom is no-frills, no gimmicks; they have their beds to try out, and you can tell they’re good quality. Behind the showroom door is a very impressive operation and helpful staff who give you all the time you need without being pushy. The guy even showed me a little bit of their factory and how they make their beds. Really cool experience. Pricing: They are extremely well-priced, and the premium option was very reasonable; even buying a base with storage was far more reasonable than at most retailers. Timing: The mattress itself was able to be made and ready within about a week, which was amazing. However, I also ordered a bed base with 4-drawer storage, which delays that a bit. Overall, it was about 3.5 weeks to deliver, which I thought was very reasonable for a made-from-scratch product. Delivery: The guys delivered my mattress and base to the northern suburbs for free, and took my old mattress for no charge. The delivery guys were really friendly, and I felt comfortable having them in my home. Product: I’ve only slept on the mattress for one night; my only complaint is that nobody warned me I’d have to set two alarms. I slept so well last night that I didn’t wake up in time to start work (lucky I'm my own boss). Usually, something is sore or strained when I wake up, but not today. I feel awesome. Overall: 10/10 - I'm glad I took the hour-long drive to their factory, their product. Much appreciation to the Redditors who didn't gatekeep this find, and the wonderful team at Melbourne Mattress Factory for making a very high-quality product so attainable.

I have bought several mattresses from Scott over a 20 year period. I have a super king, and it's the best sleep ever. I also recently added a queen size bed, as my son needed a bigger bed. ( He's 15, and over 6 foot tall ). The quality of his mattresses are second to none. The price is the best. His bed bases are top quality, especially the ones with the drawers in them. I find that these are especially useful when storing the linen for each bed. My daughters have different colours/ styles to my son's. The range here is great and suits all budgets. I think it took me all of 5 minutes before I found a mattress that suited me! Scott even delivered my mattress and base on a non-delivery day that worked best for me. This is where I will be buying all future mattresses from and will recommending to everyone!

Good experience, the mattress we ordered are comfortable. Great staff and prompt service. I got my mattress delivered within a few days of ordering. The delivery team are great as well - they actually deliver the mattress inside the house, unlike some couriers I've encountered that just leave large packages at the door unattended. Good to be supporting Australian made products.

I’ve had this bed for two years now and honestly couldn’t be happier. I don’t think Scott really cated if we bought this mattress, hey just didn’t want to see me be ripped off ! Both myself and my partners night’s sleep is super comfy, I'm excited every time I get in knowing how relaxing this bed truly is. I don’t feel a thing when my partner hops in or out of bed. And Specially with all my tossing and turning, there’s no disturbance at all. It’s warm, so roomy, firm but cuddly in all the right ways, and such a great price. So glad I didn’t waste nearly $7000 on something else!
