Melanie and the team at Melanie Tomlinson Design have delivered an exceptional result for our beach home near Sydney, and they have now received several awards for their tremendous efforts! Despite managing the renovations remotely, the design elements of the renovation were significant and the result could not have been achieved without them. MTD managed to blend the beach location with a modern and sophisticated palette. This is the second time I have used MTD, and the result for our home in Sydney was also spectacular. 'We recently purchased a large single-level three-bedroom apartment in the highly sought-after suburb of Darlinghurst, Sydney. With an oversized living and dining area extending to a tree-framed terrace, the apartment was in need of some freshening up and contemporary styling. After living abroad for the past seven years, we were looking to create a New York industrial, rustic appeal, yet minimalistic and sheike. We engaged Melanie and her team to lead the transformation. Even though Melanie is currently based in London, we seamlessly coordinated the project remotely. With Melanie's international experience, she had access to a vast array of quality industry wholesalers and contractors. We could not have been more delighted with the final product and service. From the initial design concept to the detailed joinery drawings, the selection, purchase and delivery coordination of furniture, bedding, lights, tables, lounges and trades. Melanie designed and styled the entire apartment from scratch. We look forward to working with Melanie again shortly on the next stage to upgrade the kitchen. Duncan Davison
