Meade Family Dental of Benicia

A friend recommended me to Dr. Meade's office. I needed a root canal and have had very bad experiences with Dentist in the past. Making a dentist appointment at Dr. Meade's clinic was incredibly easy, and the staff were professional, courteous, and welcoming. I drive from Sebastopol to Benicia because he is hands-down the best dentist I've ever had. From the start, Dr. Meade was very comfortable to talk to and made me feel at ease, addressing all my concerns. Before beginning treatment, he took the time to learn more about me on a personal level, which made me feel valued as a patient. I recently had a painless (yes,painless ) root canal and a cleaning, and the entire experience exceeded my expectations. The procedure took about two hours, but Dr. Meade was very attentive throughout, ensuring I was comfortable the whole time. His gentle approach and attention to detail truly made a difference in my dental experience. The results have been fantastic--my teeth feel great, and I'm extremely satisfied with the care I received. I highly recommend Dr. Meade's clinic to anyone looking for top-quality dental care!

My experience with Meade Family Dental was A plus. The office and rooms are all comfy with state of the art equipment. The crew were very friendly and capable, and Joseph Meade is an amazing dentist. For someone who is so nervous going to the dentist, I have had nothing but great experiences at Meade Family Dentristy. Dr. Meade and his staff are incredibly kind, professional and friendly! Margarit who did my cleanings is amazing. She was so patient with me and continuously checked in if I was doing okay. Recently I broke a molar right before I had to leave on an important trip. Dr Meade got me in promptly and clearly explained options for treatment. It was my first visit to his office. He and his staff took excellent care of me. I highly recommend he and his team.

In general the dental office is very comporting during my appointment. Dr. Meade always making me sure I was ok. Dental assistant always inform me what she’s going to do next which is very important for a patient. Office staff were very responsive when it comes to request and questions. Also, my daughter Janine had an appointment on the same day upon my request. After her appointment, my daughter said to me, “ Dad, they are so nice, I’ve never seen that from others.” I told her, yes they are. Ty

I would not recommend this dentist if you’re wanting your regular cleanings and check ups. This office very much seems to only care about cosmetic surgeries. I went for my 6 month cleaning and left feeling horrible about my teeth (mind you my teeth are fine and have even had work done in the past). The hygienists assistant that was doing the cleaning (I don’t remember her name but she is blonde and her name starts with an M) was very passive aggressive and pretty snarky towards anything I asked or said about my dental history. She asked multiple times if I wanted anything done (meaning cosmetics). When the dentists came in, he asked if I wanted anything done. When I said no he got up and said “okay we’ll see you in 6 months”. I HAD TO FREAKING ASK for him to tell me if I had any cavities. Only then did he bother to look at my X-rays and teeth. Why is he even there is he’s not going to do his job? why am I having to ask him to check my teeth?? To make it even worse, once he bothered to check my teeth, he realized that I needed to be sent to a specialist for my gums because there was so much recession. If I hadn’t asked for him to do his literal job, that issue could’ve been missed for another 6months! Overall both of them seemed to only care if I was interested in getting expensive cosmetic stuff done and when I said no it seemed like I was wasting their time or something. I was very disappointed because this office had good reviews and I was new to the area but I will not be returning and will find a different dentist in the area. I’ve been to quite a few dentists because I’ve moved cities a few times/ have had a lot of orthodontist stuff done on my teeth but this was by far the worst dentist I’ve ever been to. Would not recommend anyone waste their time or money going here. Not if you want someone to actually check your teeth I should note, though, that the lady at the front desk/receptionist is incredibly sweet. She knows who you are when you walk in even if you’re new and she works to find appointments that fit your schedule. She gets a 5/5 but I just wish others at this office were as nice and hard working as her.

Meade Family Dentist has been my dentist for over almost 20 years. First with Dr. Dennis Meade and now with his son Dr. Joseph Meade. My experience throughout has been excellent. No one else has worked on my teeth and I am very satisfied with the service they offer. Beginning with the front of house staff, to the dental assistants of course with Dr. Joseph Meade I couldn't be more satisfied. They have been able to meet all my needs regarding my dental care. Went to Meade Family dental and had a great experience again. Dr Joseph Meade greeted me by name while I waited for my cleaning with Jen the hygienist. Cleaning was really thorough and Jen gave me tips on treating my sensitivity. Dr Meade did a checked at the end and discussed some things that will help with my gum recession. My last visit, was with the brother Dr Alex Meade and I had an old filling replaced and a cleaning. No problems after! So far they have lived up to the great local reputation!

Dr. Meade and his office staff are top notch! I think this is certainly the most talented and professional dentist I have ever seen. The whole atmosphere of the office, from saying 'Hello' to the kindly front office person, to the rest of the staff is a great experience.
