I normally do all the work myself on my truck but with a timing crunch and the cold weather I decided to call MDP diesel to quote a turbo actuator replacement. Matt and Adam were very professional and helpful. The quote they gave was very reasonable and they warranty their work. This made the repair a no brainer. When they got my truck they did a very thorough inspection and found a few items I knew were in need radiator and transmission fluids. I had them do that also along with transmission extra capacity pan and bypass. When I picked my truck up there was a slight issue with the actuator went out on the way home. There was no way they could have known this but they were very nice and had me turn the truck around to fix it. I was very impressed with their quality inspection check list also. It was a great experience and I will most definitely be bringing my truck back for any future repairs. I have been driving the truck now for 2 weeks and towing trailers with it. The truck is running amazing and the transmission has never ran cooler. Thanks MDP! 3/24/26 update towed a 10,000 pound 5th wheel to Tn. At 60 degrees outside going up a grade we never saw the trans temps get much above 130.

On a recent visit from Florida, where I work, to my home state of Michigan to visit family, the AC died in my 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I searched around for repair shops and found MDP Auto & Diesel Repair and I'm so glad I did. Mike & Kim and the crew did a fantastic job of getting the AC repaired so I could get back to the Florida heat comfortably. Mike gave me regular updates on the progress of the repairs and the cost was very reasonable. When I retire to my home state of Michigan in the near future, MDP will get all of my vehicle repair and maintenance business. I highly recommend them. Very nice people who do quality work at fair prices. Great job guys! Still running COOL in FL!

Usually my experience with Mechanics is a lot of doubt and skepticism regarding the scope and magnitude of the work suggested. This is the first time in my life I had 100 percent confidence in the job being performed, the integrity of the shop doing the work and the honesty of the price and fees charged. MDP had a communication system via App that was amazingly informative. It kept me abreast of every move, each step of the way with pictures, real time communication and price adjustments, which made the job a seamless experience and quicker than I ever thought possible. A brand new engine literally installed four days. I drove out feeling confident that it was a job well done and I had picked the right shop. Update: I had a separate mechanical issue while in another state I called MDP for a reference and they got on their collaboration system and found me a mechanic that handled all of my issues. MDP then stayed in touch with me and the garage to make sure everything was being handled properly and I was back on the road in no time thank you MDP for going above and beyond. Upon my last visit which was a simple oil changed I was welcomed with a clean new waiting area coffee snacks and A friendly staff. July2025 update: As always the professional team has done it again and needed a complete air-conditioning line replacement and they got it done in one day very little hassle neat and courteous staff and waiting area and it’s always my go to for my vehicle thank you again MDP. Great fast and friendly service, got my sister and me in for oil changes next day! Provided a tech report complete with pictures and videos, honest and upfront about services that are needed soon or can wait a bit. Prices are fair and better than other places I have been. Matt was excellent in explaining everything. Worth the drive from Chelsea, will visit again.

Absolutely recommend this shop. They are always so polite and never pushy i know some women who dont like to take the car for our changes in fear of being told that something needs fixed that day. They do let you know and send you home with a quote no pressure. If janx sends there trucks there its very reputable in my opinion

We had work done on my son’s truck. It needed quite a bit of maintenance, and our service agent, Matt made sure it got done in a timely manner. He kept me updated frequently. They even had a key fob made for us, gave us a discount and t- shirts. It was in overall great experience and we highly recommend them for any work you need on your diesel.
