This is the best bang for your buck, locally. The other two have roaches and have extremely smaller rooms. The front desk accommodates you as much as they can, but does not deal with drama so I feel safe here, being a single female for weeks at a time for work. Make sure you state that you want your room cleaned and FYI no breakfast but the lobby always smells like a home cooked meal. (Roosters is in the same parking lot) All in all… ask for room service, Jo (shes a sweetheart) if you need anything and it’s tucked away and safe. Enjoy! 😊

My sister and I got a room here on 08/15/25 after the My Chemical Romance concert in Philly and it was absolutely disgusting. Our first warning should have been the 6 or 7 signs in the lobby that say “NO REFUNDS”. But we ignored it because it was 1 am and we were tired. So we payed the 100 dollars for the night and went to our room. As we walked to our room, we saw a dumpster FULL of white mattresses. Bad sign. As soon as we got into our room, I turned around to lock the door and saw a roach crawling up the door frame. It freaked me out so we started to do an inspection of the whole place and ended up seeing about 7 roaches within 5 minutes. One of which was huge!! Probably 3 or 4 inches long!!!!! We were so sick to our stomachs we immediately grabbed out things and left and went to a nicer hotel and had to drop another 200 dollars. The pictures online are completely fake. Do not stay here!!!

Rooms are filthy with sticky floors and old furniture. Has roaches, no bed bugs though. Service is terrible to get refresh on towels and sheets. They charge a $50 extra fee if there’s 2 occupants VS 1 just a heads up.

This place was a joke. If someone told me there was a movie being filmed on location, that would have been believable and even made sense! Ok. 3 story hotel... no elevator. No ADA accommodations at all. No hangers for the closet, no tissue to blow your nose on in the rooms. There is no additional furniture to sit on, except except for the bed. There are no extra rolls of toilet paper. No phone in the rooms, in case you need assistance from the lobby. There is a television but no cable, so it's a non-working television. We did inquire with the lobby about some of the things that were missing, but that did no good at all. They advertise a lot that they don't actually offer. It looks a lot like a hotel that people live in on a long-term basis, not a place that is open to the general public for temporary housing. The outside decor consists of old bed mattresses and old broken furniture laying around behind the bldg, but the stuff is visible. Poor night lighting. I did see an elevator, but along with being non-working, it was blocked! People are just hanging outside on the walkways to the rooms. It's just a super creepy environment. 😳 The last night we were there, we came back to a completely dark room with no power. One of the " residents" that was hanging outside shared with us that the power had been out for several hours. So, I am assuming there are no backup generators. It did not feel safe at all, and I was very uncomfortable with our entire 2 day stay. What can I say that's good? The bed in our room appeared to be new and was comfortable to sleep in. Also, the mirrors were plentiful and nice. But the room is dimly lit, and there is no carpet anywhere, which is one of the things they advertise. And last but not least... they had baby roaches. This place gives "budget hotel" a very bad name. I was in town for a family event, so I was not in the room very much, but if you wanted to hang out in your hotel room, you most likely would not have been comfortable. Never again, and I do mean NEVER!

The owners are very friendly - this is nothing against them. I just stayed here the other night and I don't recommend this hotel. It's more like a dumpy motel. The lobby is absolutely dumpy. Stayed in a non-smoking room on the bottom floor and it still smelled awful which made it hard to sleep. There were bugs crawling in the shower. Water leaked from the refrigerator all over the floor. Found this when I first got to my room - very disappointing. Went back to the lobby to try for another room and the lady said she didn't want to give us a room in an "unsafe area." I nearly walked out because this is not what you want to be concerned about at a hotel. It's definitely a fishy area that's questionable. For safety & health reasons, DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL. You can hear everything. The toilet ran all night long and the AC is very loud. I was worried about bed bugs and just didn't sleep well at all. I feel bad saying all this but you really do get what you pay for. Don't be cheap with hotels! Plan your trips well in advance as we booked the day before. Make your vacations worth every penny.

Rooms are ok, a bit small, beds weren't the advertised sizes. Service was... Let's just say the trash outside was seriously piled up. Location was cool, quiet, and relaxing

This place is disgusting. Loud crazy people screaming, dude roaming around picking up cigarette butts, room is disgusting I don't even want to sleep here. There is something that looks like blood splattered on the walls. Shower had black mold, the list goes on. I already booked it through a non-refundable site so I guess I'm sleeping here which I really don't want to do but I also have been driving all day and I don't want to waste $90.

The worst experience ever, it's supposed to be pet friendly, I am waiting for renovations to be done at my home, so I needed a hotel to stay at for about 3 in a half weeks 1 month, well I called the hotel ahead of time to request a room, king smoking told them we had an animal. I get to the hotel, the guy that works the desk says because i was late which I told him over phone I was not sure the time I was arriving which would be Sunday or Monday and gave the room I reserved away. Then gave me another room and charged me like I got their on a Sunday instead of Monday at 230pm. Then the room he gave me was a double bed room, not a smoking room. At this point I'm frustrated because I had to pack up things to move for a month from my home so I have all my belongings, and I was extremely tired so I took it, within a day of being their , I started seeing little baby roaches and the big ones. I went to office again to see if they had any single beds available bug free , so he moved me to the other side looked cleaner no bugs that I saw anywhere, but it still was not a smoking 🚬 room. Then within a week of being their the guy says I have to pay a $50 fee for my cat. I'm thinking ok one time fee no problem. But next time I go down their to pay for my week the woman tell me I have to pay $480 ➕ $50 again. So they wanted an extra $200 a month on top of the weekly rate, I've never had to pay a pet fee every week at a hotel. The rooms are not worth that at all. The 3rd week when I went to pay they told me I couldn't rent a room their any longer, at 11am. And I had to check out. MIND YOU OTHER HOTELS , sometimes won't let you check in until around 1 to 3pm. So I called around @ 11am. Long story short they tried to rush me out of the room packing. And the woman that works the front desk stood at my door for about 30 minutes trying to rush me. I said I'm not rushing because if you didn't want me to rent a room another week you should have giving me plenty of time so I could make arrangements at another hotel. So until I can check into my new room I will be taking my time leaving. Ridiculous big time... 1230pm came around and the new place I called said I could check in about 1hr. But this younger woman that works here and the older guy that works here are no good. I wanted to speak to the actual owner who I spoke to 1 week before they claimed was not their yet, but I would never of put these 2 people in charge period. The worst experience ever at a hotel. The worst. I checked in to a new hotel that is pet friendly and doesn't ask for anything extra for them. Stay away from the McIntosh inn... or you may end up bringing friends back to your home.( Roaches)...

This place wasn’t that bad it was inexpensive the receptionist was nice the room was ok wasn’t dirty, didn’t see any bugs I was little thrown off by it being a ice machine but no bucket to put the ice in or cups to drink out of! I would have gave it another star if I wasn’t woken up by screaming kids running back in forth at 7am while me and my kids were sleeping! I went to the door to see what was going on and to my surprise dad was just standing there letting them do it just no regard for others trying to rest also I would not recommend this place to anyone that doesn’t have a car!! It’s nothing but highway no sidewalks an it was a hassle trying to get to the bus stop with two young children I ended up having to get a ride
