I absolutely love this program. It is extremely user friendly. My oldest used this program and now my middle child is working with the program and his tutor, Giuliana weekly from Levy Learning Center. She has been wonderful and all the tutors Dr. Levy has part of her team has been lovely to work with. I love that new programs are being added to enhance the learning experience. My son loves the learning songs! Once Dr. Levy added that he has been grasping the concepts so much more with excitement. It truly gives such a good foundation on phonics. We homeschool and it's been a great addition to our other curriculum. I will not hesitate getting my daughter started on the program to help prep her for kindergarten.

MaxScholar has been a game-changer for our school, CG Smith Academy. Developed by Dr. Deborah Levy and based on the Orton-Gillingham approach, this software provides powerful, research-backed tools that help our students—especially those with ADHD, dyslexia, and other learning challenges—make real progress in reading. Our teachers found the program intuitive and effective, and it complements the professional development training we received from the Levy Learning Center perfectly. The strategies and support have empowered our staff to better meet the needs of our learners. We’re especially grateful that access to MaxScholar and the tutoring support is made possible through our Title I grant. It’s making a meaningful difference in our classrooms every day. As a high school teacher, one of the most disheartening experiences is encountering high school students who are reading and comprehending texts below their grade level. However, the MaxScholar Program has provided me with a vital tool for closing the reading gaps of my students. Through the MaxScholar program, my students are receiving engaging, differentiated, and structured reading support. Furthermore, since the MaxScholar program is based on the Orton-Gillingham approach, I feel confident in allowing my students to use this adaptive software tailored to their individual needs. In the upcoming school year, I will be implementing the MaxScholar Program more consistently, and I am excited to see the tremendous academic progress and the increased confidence of my students.

MaxScholar is a great app that helps children improve their reading and phonics skills. It uses modern, interactive methods instead of traditional ones, making learning fun and engaging. Highly recommend it!

MaxScholar is a wonderful platform for presenting the Orton-Gillingham approach to educators and students alike. Definitely worth the time and effort to get "neurodivergent" students, which often go formally undiagnosed, learning. As a tutor it made things organized and presentable for me.

The MaxScholar program has been instrumental in helping my daughter with her dyslexia. We were first introduced to Max Scholar through a tutoring intensive my daughter attended at Levy Learning Center. The program is very engaging for the student, something that really helped capture my daughters attention. The program, structured almost like a game, encouraged my daughter to want to do more lessons while improving her reading along the way. We are very much content with MaxScholar and the improvement it’s made in our daughters reading and comprehension skills.

I've been an elementary educator for over ten years teaching EVERYWHERE ( Title One Public School 2nd and 4th , Public Charter 2nd/3rd muli-age and co-teach model + elementary and gifted, adult ESOL , private Catholic first grade, Public charter Interventionist) and MaxScholar is the best program I've ever used. It is systematic, straight forward delivery and includes software if you prefer to tutor to teach online. I even use it ( both in person and follow up with the software) with my daughter in Kindergarten. She reads already at a mid-first grade level but loves using the software and instant feedback. As an educator I feel so much more confident delivering reading instruction with fidelity and see immediate results , especially with sight words.

The past year I have been working on my MaxScholar Level 1 Orton-Gillingham Certification. As part of the program participants submit different lessons plans over the course of 7 months and interact with MaxScholar online software. This year I have learned an incredible amount about the multi-sensory Orton-Gillingham approach to reading. I have found it extremely interesting, and rewarding to see this approach positively impacting my students. The program provided a solid starting point for Orton-Gillingham multi-sensory reading.

I am just wrapping up my Orton Gillingham training with Max Scholar. Structured literacy is not new to me as a reading specialist but I was looking for a program that was online and would help me achieve OG certification. Max Scholar has been a great choice. Dr. Levy and her team have been so responsive with my questions and any extra support I needed along the way. The monthly meetings and feedback were instrumental for me and my students have progressed so much. My students also really enjoy using the software program and it has been an excellent way to reinforce what I am teaching them. The software program and reports that it offers provide me with a more detailed way of targeting instruction to best meet their needs. This has been an excellent experience.
