Maximum Security Escape Rooms

My husband and I did the Castle of the Mad Mage escape room at Maximum Security Escape Rooms in Waynesville for Valentine’s Day, and it was an incredible experience! The puzzles were well thought out, challenging, and flowed perfectly with the theme. They kept us engaged the entire time without ever feeling frustrating. The room design had great attention to detail. The staff was welcoming, enthusiastic, and clearly passionate about creating an unforgettable experience. If you're looking for an escape room that is fun, immersive, and well-designed, this is the one to try. Whether you're new to escape rooms or have done a bunch, you won’t be disappointed. We escaped in 49:37, and we’re already planning our next visit. This place is absolutely worth checking out. Five stars, without a doubt.

We brought the family and a friend for a holiday treat and had a blast! The guys who ran it were helpful and the props were amazing! Also this was one of the more challenging (but super fun!) puzzles we’ve done. Such a gem for our little town.

We tried the Cabin of the Living Dead and it was so much fun! The host and game master were both absolutely amazing. The room and puzzles were so cool and expertly designed. Will definitely be back for Castle of the Mad Mage and any future rooms! Thanks for the one of a kind experience guys!!

We just finished our escape room experience here and it was SO much fun! It was challenging enough for the four of us (two adults, two teenagers) without being frustrating. The three hints definitely helped. The story was intriguing and the theme was consistent and well thought-out. The host was incredibly helpful with introductions and instructions, and a great character addition to the story! We really, really enjoyed our evening and can't wait until they open their second room!

My wife and I are escape room enthusiasts. We have done at least 75+ rooms across the country. We really loved this escape room. The theme was perfect, the puzzles were well thought out, and the overall layout of the room was everything we looked for in escape rooms. With that being said, this escape room will certainly not disappoint. We would recommend Maximum Security Escape Rooms to all regardless of your experience level. From beginner to expert fun is a certainty! We are excited to see the future rooms devolped here as well. If you wish to know more, you will have to just go and experience it for yourself!

Went for Valentine’s Day double date with our friends visiting from Alabama. None of our foursome (all 50+) had ever been to an escape room before. We had a blast and thoroughly enjoyed it‼️ It took us the full hour and a couple of hints to get out. So very glad this activity is available in our small town. We will definitely return to try the other rooms!

Called on a whim to see if they had any spots available for the evening...they said come whenever, and we were not disappointed! Such a high quality game and very immersive experience. The smell of "building" was in the air and you can tell they are serious about their game play. The Mad Madge's Castle was a real challenge, but not so difficult that we couldn't figure out how to escape. Thank you, and we will be back when the second room is finished being built!

It was our first escape room experience. It was awesome. If you've never done an escape room or have done them alot, you have to go here... it was a blast! We are now hooked. Can't wait to do the other one and will enjoy your new location also! Fun for everyone. Thank you for the fun.
