We came to Max and Min under really sad circumstances but I have to give credit where credit is due and the whole team were incredible. rose in reception was exceptionally lovely. Everyone was Kind and caring and gave all the time we needed. Thankyou for seeing that our boy, Niko, had a peaceful send off. You made a difficult situation a little less painful

Max and Min are always so so lovely! We have been going to them ever since we got our kitten and we have never had a bad experience. All of them are so lovely and accommodating. They treat us and our pets so wonderfully, couldn’t recommend them more!😊

I was recommended by my neighbour to visit Max and Min after my previous vet quoted a very high price for my dog’s lump removal surgery. From the moment I walked in, the staff at Max and Min were exceptionally caring and provided amazing customer service. Even though my insurance didn’t cover the cost, I feel every penny spent was completely worth it. The team were so friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring — I was absolutely amazed by the level of compassion and professionalism they showed. I can’t recommend Max and Min enough — truly wonderful people who go above and beyond for pets and their owners!

Max & Min Vets are honestly exceptional. The whole team is super friendly, caring and patient, and the clinic itself is so thoughtfully arranged that it really helps minimise any stress for our fur babies. Their membership system is brilliant — flea and worm treatments are posted directly to us, which saves time and avoids unnecessary trips. Every visit feels organised and relaxed, and the vets are incredibly knowledgeable. They take the time to explain every possibility clearly, so you always know exactly what is happening and why. My anxious boy actually wants to go in, even when it is his brother’s appointment, which says everything about how good they are. Highly recommended.

I simply can not praise this vet highly enough. Every interaction we had, from the first phone call to the first visit, the service was exemplary. Initially, Rose in reception was one of the nicest and kindest receptionists we've come across. She was so understanding of everything we needed and due to major issues with our previous vet (medivet) she really put our minds at ease. But the ultimate test was a visit with the vet himself as we've had massive issues at the last vets with them accusing our elderly dog of being aggressive and always requiring a muzzle but on the first visit which lasted a good 45 minutes with the owner Anish, he was able to inspect her all over without muzzle and no hassle, something medivet haven't been able to do for years as she's so anxious when she goes in. I can honestly say it's the best vet visit our girl has ever had and most noticeable difference was his tactics in order to relax the patient. The practice itself is designed beautifully. It's very spacious with calming music and aromatherapy oils in the air. Overall, I can't speak highly enough of Max & and Min, so if you're debating who to go to while reading this, do not hesitate to get in touch with them ❤️

I can't recommend Max & Min Vets highly enough. Our cat, Benji, suffered a severe stomach injury that required multiple procedures and treatments. Throughout the entire process, the vets, nurses, and support team were incredibly helpful, patient, and supportive. Their modern, welcoming, and calming surgery made a stressful situation much more manageable. We're so glad we made the switch from our previous, outdated, and overpriced veterinary practice. Thank you for taking such great care of Benji. In the nicest possible way, we hope not to need your services again anytime soon! 😊 He’s very happy to be home and cone free!

I own 4 sphynx cats a puppy and a horse I have these animals as mental health therapy animals for support due to negligence from the NHS causing me to need multiple life changing surgeries at 23 years old being told I cannot have any children in the future I have dedicated my life to animals to fill the void. I wanted to find the best I could for my babies and this place was not only close but had great reviews, I was having routine work of castration for my Sphynx cats, I had previously had 2 of my cats done here and I was the one that had to tell them you cannot use ketamin as it can be dangerous for sphynx cats to have this drug used during procedure they were blissfully unaware but I gave them the benefit of the doubt as obviously sphynx cats aren’t very common. Fast forward to my youngest boy going in for castration I was fresh out of surgery so my partner took him in. Due to my own experience with hospitals and procedures it’s a very stressful experience for me anyway but I have no choice as I know it’s for the best as castration also helps them have less oily skin helps suppress their hormones therefore suppressing their oil production. My partner gets a call shortly after with applogies they have overdosed my boy and they need to do bloodwork, he rushes up there and tell him the procedure has gone well although afterwards they had given him double the amount of pain meds. I come up a week post op obviously having a panic attack and crying, the old women on the front desk continuously tell me “it’s not my problem I didn’t overdose the cat did I” while I’m crying asking for answers apologising for showing my emotions loudly but I am mentally and physically unwell I just need answers as to what happened, I am then surrounded by staff all trying to tell me to calm down and then bring my boy out who was so drugged up his head couldn’t lift from on his pillow of his pram we brought him in, I instantly ask why they have not started flushing the drugs out and started the bloodwork which they respond “we need your permission” which my partner had already given and I then demand they start this instantly. They decided to call the police on me because I was loud, when the police arrived they said I have done nothing wrong and even when police questioned the dose and what drug they overdosed him on the old women still refused to answer and police were agreeing with me that they understood my frustration, I let them keep my boy for further tests just to check his levels we’re not going to scar him lifelong as that’s what I was told was a possibility, I was then contacted by someone higher up telling me they have decided they will no longer treat my animals for me and I need to find a new vet, not a single apology not a single care of the disruption they had caused to my healing from surgery or my healing of mental health I have been suffering with and all I was told was “these mistakes happen even in the NHS it was the drug manufacturers fault as they wrote the dosage confusing on the label”. If I could give 0 stars I would. But the only lady in this vets is a lovely young lady normally at the desk who I normally dealt with up until this incident and I know if she was on shift when this happened it would have gone a completely different way as she’s so caring for all the animals and for the people coming in. I just wish she was on shift it’s a shame the rest of the staff had no heart towards such a sensitive situation. For such a routine procedure to go so wrong I just cannot forgive them, especially my treatment after their wrong doing with no accountability.

I can’t recommend highly enough. Friendly, professional, caring. Words that sum up all the staff. Our 3 older cats are all receiving treatment here and I know they are in safe hands.

We took Otis, our 10 year old GSP to see Bonnie Cheung to get a second opinion on a spinal issue and we couldn't have asked for a more friendly and professional vet. She immediately gained Otis's trust was very thorough in her assessment. She explained everything clearly and reassured us that it wasn't as bad as we thought it might be. First visit to this practice and very pleased we've changed from our previous vet practice. Martin and Sharon (and Otis!)

Frisbee couldn't have asked for a more friendly, attentive and adept veterinary team who welcomed him, throughout his unbelievably difficult journey, into their clinic with loads of care, love and of course treats. My only regret is not having taken him to Max and Min Veterinary Practice sooner. What really surprised me about this place, and I cannot stress this enough, is how hospitable and warm the customer support team were. There wasn't a single time when Frisbee and I didn't feel welcome by every single member of staff, but what will always stick with me is how one of the amazing ladies there (I wish I knew her name) came and embraced both me and my mum during our most challenging time with Frisbee. She seriously deserves a raise!
