Matias Tree Service & Landscape Contractor

This is the second project we have used Matias team. The first project we did summer 2023 replacing grass with DG. We loved their work so much we called them back (just got done today) with vine removal on a tree and around our fence. I didn't take good before pics to show the level of the work they did. We are already budgeting to call Matias back in 6 months to prune some trees. Highly recommend!

I had 3 queen palms in need of trimming. They'd been neglected for quite a few years. I used Yelp Projects to acquire bids which came in from 450 to 650. I'm very happy with the work Matias Tree Service performed. They were 475, responded quickly and came the next day. Their crew were very skilled. I had to watch because they roped up and performed some incredibly detailed work with chainsaws. All in all, they removed something in the neighborhood of 1000 lbs of material from the 3 trees and woodchipped it all up in front of the house and hauled it away. They cleaned up everything including blowing. Very professional in all aspects. There are a lot of guys on yelp claiming to do tree trimming. Matias is licensed and insured which is important to me. I will definitely have them back.

Seven years ago Matias Tree Services planned and installed a front yard that was both attractive and environmentally sound. It was time this year for an upgrade. We did not hesitate to contact Matias Tree Service to do the work. Felipe and his team replaced weed barriers, installed bark, replaced drip system and repaired sprinkler system. It came out beautifully! They installed decomposed granite with sealant for pathway around lawn, planted plants, trimmed trees, and stained and sealed the deck. They always checked in with us throughout the project to make sure that we were satisfied with the work. They were always on time; they thoroughly cleaned up areas before leaving on each of the three days they worked on this project. They consistently go over and above. The price was right. Our yard now looks manicured. We would definitely refer them to others. If we want future work done in the yard or on our house we would not hesitate to contact them to do the work.

We had a huge maple tree in our front yard that had been here since the house was built. It would turn a beautiful red in the late fall and was a highlight of the neighborhood. We were afraid it was getting too big and heavy and might topple with the next winters storms but we didn't want to top or butcher it's shape. Felipe and his crew did a masterful job of thinning out the tree to the top without affecting its beauty. Thank you for the fine job and I look forward to working with you in the future. Tony

Found Matias by seeing their sign on neighbor's yard. The project included extensive concrete flatwork, fencing and xeroscape which looked great. Felipe was responsive during summer rush/ pandemic and set an appointment for in-person estimate. We had a retaining wall concept including irrigation and planting. Felipe offered design suggestions which helped with end result and longevity. The work was completed on time and on budget, and transformed our yard. Highlights included skilled workers, daily cleanup, fast & efficient work and reliability. Since the first project we have used Matias to replace 300 linear feet of fence and plan to use them to build a pergola in our back yard.

Matias Tree service and landscaping did an amazing job clearing many issues in a our newly bought home in one fast swoop. In a single day they were able to remove and grind out about 7 trees, several of which were impacting the foundation of the home or soon to be if not treated. They also cut and cleaned the backyard and left everything looking great. Highly recommend this group for anybody looking to have any services done
