Matheson Heating Air Plumbing

This experience could've been bad, but Mattheson made it seamless! My heat went out on a Sunday afternoon. Scheduled an appointment to have my furnace repaired. A gentleman put on some show guards and took a look, and advised me that it was one of my heating coils that went bad. He gave me en estimate to replace it, but wanted a second option. He did recommend a person come out and give me a quote on a new furnace. Rich came out and asked me a few questions like square footage, thermostat, etc. He then gave me a proposal with 4 options. He advised me of the pros and cons of each option. For me there were two options that wouldn't be compatible with my Nest Learning Thermostat Gen 4. He also compared the options with what I had currently. He was very friendly and knowledgeable as well as patient with my questions. I experienced finance issues and Rich was able to help with a plan B and was approved. He was at another customer's home after mine and was able to drop off a space heater to use until my furnace could get installed. I then had 2 professional installers (I apologize but I can't remember their names or the person who came to inspect my furnace.) come in and prepped me for what to expect while they install my new furnace. They put on show guards and immediately layed floor protectors. It took less than 4 hours to tear down and remove the old, and install the new one. After they were finished they showed me the furnace, my whole home humidifier (which already existed, but it now could be controlled by the thermostat! ) thermostat and it's features, and how to connect it with the app. They advised me next steps that Rich will take care of like the rebates for example. The whole process was stress free and well worth the wait. I highly recommend Mattheson Heating, Air, & Plumbing for all of your HVAC and plumbing needs!

We recently had Matheson Heating, Air and Plumbing replace our furnace, A/C, and water heater, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. Kevin, Troy, and their team—Dakota, Dominick, Camden, and Mike M.—were outstanding. They completed the entire job in just one day and left our home neat and tidy, as clean as when they arrived. We also had Matheson return on a separate day to replace our water softener and sump pump, and to repair a leak at the T‑connection of an existing water line. Dakota and Dominick handled this second project, completing the work with the same professionalism, efficiency, and attention to detail we experienced the first time. Their craftsmanship and care for our home were once again exceptional. We are extremely satisfied with Matheson Heating, Air and Plumbing and the consistency of their service across multiple projects. Their crew has been friendly, courteous, and highly professional throughout the process. Their attention to detail and respect for our home make them a company we are truly confident recommending to anyone in need of top‑quality work.

Called Matheson this morning because my furnace went out, had a tech here by 3pm ( awesome! ). Norbert was the most pleasant tech I’ve dealt with in decades! He is friendly and very polite. After I get my new furnace installed, I will request Norbert for my routine maintenance every time. ** UPDATE ** Had my new system installed( furnace, A/C and a water heater), could not ask for better experience!!! The gentleman that did the install are top tier techs. Dakota, Jack, and Matt were very professional , polite and explained everything as the install progressed. Matt even entertained my dog for a short time while filling out paperwork. Had Dominik and Jack out the following day for a very minor adjustment . Again, very professional and a pleasure to talk to! Special thank you to Troy in sales, for his professionalism and suggestions! He was never pushy and explained my options in great detail. Made my discussions very easy! I’m so happy that I went with Matheson. Best decision I’ve made in a long time. Keep up the great work!!!

Devin Patrick was very, very good. One of the best experiences I've had with any service person and I'm 59 years old. He was informative. He spoke to me with respect and gave me a very good information that I could understand. He was patient and he answered my questions and he addressed all of my concerns. Give that guy a raise. Find a way to duplicate him. Thank you for sending him and thank you for the service.

We got the annual service membership after having Matheson install a new furnace for us last year. Matheson’s front office was very friendly and gave us a reminder call to schedule our fall check up before our membership expired. Service by Gavin was timely (able to come earlier with a break in his schedule). In the maintenance check he found a drain o-ring was under sized and starting to show small signs of a leak. He got the part and came back in the next few days to fix it. Gavin was friendly, informative, and knowledgeable. Answering any questions that we had in a pleasant manner. Gavin genuinely wanted to help us out however he could. Overall our experience was very good and always has been with Matheson over the last 25 years. Great that we have a local business that we can trust to take care of our family and home when we need them to. Much appreciated!

We decided to be proactive and replace our 26 year old furnace and air conditioner. Troy, the sales agent from Matheson did an excellent job inspecting and analyzing the replacements. We received 3 quotes and Matheson was the most impressive with their fair and professional analysis. Dakota and his team arrived on time and did an excellent job. They were professional, respectful and their work was exceptional. They even returned immediately the next day after I called to report a whistling sound which they corrected immediately. Great service, kind people and a quality HVAC system installed! Thank you!

We had great service from Norbert on our older furnace checkup. Norbert discovered excessive carbon monoxide escaping from the furnace and discussed remediation options with me. I chose a new furnace. During installation of our new furnace Norbert and crew provided us with several space heaters to keep the house and pipes warm. The entire job was completed efficiently and clean. We are very satisfied with Matheson.

I called Matheson Heating, Air, and plumbing recently to come out to check on a minor issue with my heater. Jack Harris was the technician who came out to take a look. Jack is a great guy, we had a great chat, and he spent a lot of time to make sure everything was done right and replaced a fuse and then double checked everything. When he left everything was working well. I really appreciate the support Jack and Matheson had provided. They are a very reliable and outstanding company. I have already mentioned this to my friends about my new unit and my overall experiences and how happy I am with Matheson. I already have a couple of my friends willing to consider this company due to my recommendation. This is the only place I will call for all my HVAC and plumbing needs. They are the best.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Exceptional Service From Start to Finish! I had an absolutely outstanding experience with this company and the technician who came out to fix my furnace. From the very first phone call, everything was smooth, friendly, and reassuring. By the time the technician Norbert arrived - the service only got better from there. He was incredibly thorough and checked so many components of the furnace (half of which I couldn’t even name!) and made sure everything was functioning safely and efficiently. He did fix the issue!! He also tested for carbon monoxide which gave me peace of mind and reassurance that my carbon monoxide alarms were also working well. You always have that small wonder in the back of your mind. He was professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind. You can tell he takes great pride in his work and truly cares about the customer’s safety and comfort. Everything about the entire experience — from the phone interaction to the actual service — was perfect. I couldn’t be happier and highly recommend them to anyone! Honestly. Thank you. Oh! And the fee was lower than I thought. Grateful for that as well.

I am disappointed with Matheson. I called the office for a "ballpark " quote to replace an anode rod for a Bradford-White hot water tank. The office could not provide one & would send someone to my house to review tha tank. I was surprised at this response but did not question it. I did not ask if this house visit would cost--my error. I scheduled an appointment. Today he finally arrived after going to the wrong address-my exwife's house. After reviewing the water tank and checking our water, I was presented with a service charge of approximately $150. He did, however, provide a quote for the anode rod replacement. All I wanted was a quote not a bill. I have never paid for any work quote before. I may try Matheson in the future but I will be very careful of setting up an appointment.
