Henry did an unprofessional job tiling my outdoor section. There was a major breakdown in communication. I use real copper on all my balcony edging, and when I discussed this with Henry, he said he’d organise the same copper. Unfortunately, what he ended up using was just a copper colour, not actual copper.
This is a big issue for me, as real copper naturally tarnishes over time, while the material he used is a cheap imitation that chips and scratches easily. It’s about $20 per length and definitely not the same quality. When I raised this with Henry, he was quite rude and abrupt, which was disappointing.
If you look at the rest of the trims, it’s obvious they’re real copper, so the expectation should’ve been clear that I wanted the same for the tile edging—especially after being told it would match.
As per the photos, the tiling is crooked, with visible gaps, and without the appropriate edging. Because of that, I wouldn’t use Henry again in the future.

After this Google review Henry sent me a text message saying the following. I am disappointed this fails to take accountability for the lack of quality of this job.
Hi Shane, I unfortunately saw the email you wrote for us and we were deeply disappointed because when we first discussed this with you, you told us that it didn't matter whether the edge metals were copper or not, the same as the other parts of the balcony. We reduced our price accordingly and gave them to you. The price of the metal profiles we bought was $20 each, while the price of the other copper profiles was $60 plus. We used a total of 4 metal profiles there, and the price difference was $240 plus. As we said at the beginning, we quoted the $20 profiles. We brought those profiles the next day, and you saw them. You didn't say anything about this either. We asked you and you said everything was fine. However, when it came to the grouting stage, you suddenly said these were not copper and asked us what to do now. You asked for a price discount, but when we told you about our previous agreement, we agreed. You didn't speak up, you remembered what you said from the very beginning, you couldn't say anything. If we didn't like the yellow metals, if you had told us this yesterday, we would have removed them and changed them as you wanted, but yesterday, instead of telling us this, you complained about us on Google at the same time. We find this unbecoming of you and we condemn it. We absolutely do not accept the accusations you wrote. As someone who has been doing this job for 30 years, we are truly sorry to see you present us as a liar and a fraud who owes us 250 dollars. We hope you will reconsider the agreement you made with us from the very beginning. We invite you to be fair and vicdan.
