I had the most incredible experience at Martis Valley Skincare, and I can’t recommend it enough! My nail tech was absolutely wonderful—professional, kind, and incredibly skilled. I treated myself to their luxurious CBD hand manicure, and it was pure bliss from start to finish. I love that they’ve expanded their services and are now Truckee’s very first non-toxic nail salon! It’s so important to me that the products used are vegan, cruelty-free, benzo-free, glitter-free, nano-particle free, and completely non-toxic—and this salon truly delivers on all of that without compromising on quality or style. The salon itself is cozy, modern, and beautifully designed, making it the perfect spot for a quick refresh or full pampering session. I also had the chance to enjoy their spa amenities and red light sauna, which made the experience even more special. The cozy robes, spotless and stylish bathroom, and warm, attentive staff made me feel completely relaxed and cared for. If you’re looking for a high-end, healthy, and rejuvenating nail and spa experience in Truckee—this is the place!

Martis Valley Massage is a really special place. The facilities are spotless and calming, and the whole setup feels like a mini retreat. The cold plunge, sauna, hot tub, and tea bar all add so much to the experience. it’s hard not to relax the second you walk in. It was my birthday, and all my friends had booked massages too, so I was especially looking forward to mine. My original therapist couldn’t make it due to unforeseen circumstances, and while the staff did a great job accommodating me with someone else, the style of the massage just wasn’t what I personally enjoy. Because it was a special day and everyone else loved their massages, I’ll admit there was an extra layer of disappointment on my end. That said, I can still see how the style I received could be great for someone with different preferences. Even so, the overall visit was refreshing, and the atmosphere and care they put into the space really stand out. Despite the hiccup, it still felt like a five-star experience.

Amazing experience! I’m so happy we have Martis Valley Massage and Spa here in Truckee/Tahoe. This place has everything you need for a solid recovery day, including massage, hot tub, cold plunge, sauna, and facials. The atmosphere is so relaxing, and it’s so easy to unplug and reset here. Everyone was so friendly, and the experience was wonderful. Above and beyond! Don’t miss out on this place!

I absolutely love Martis Valley Massage in Truckee!! I’ve been coming here for their incredible massages for a while, and now that they offer non-toxic nail services, it’s truly the best self-care spot in town. The massage therapists are so skilled and always help melt away my stress, and the new manicure and pedicure options are amazing, clean, relaxing, and long-lasting without any harsh chemicals. Not to mention the hot tub, sauna, and cold plunge. Seriously. the best place in town It’s so nice to have a massage studio and nail spa in one place that focuses on health, relaxation, and high-quality care. Beautiful spa with a friendly and professional staff. All of the treatments I have had have been amazing. The new Thermal room hot tub, sauna cold plunge area is really beautiful with incredible attention to detail. Lemon water, Rishi tea chocolates, they have thought of everything!

I had a fantastic hydra facial with Emma. I took advantage of the immersive hot tube, cold dunk, and infra red was my favorite. Amazing “waters of Tahoe” room. Staff was friendly, conscious and welcoming. I booked another next month. and taking a guest there this week for the spa. Going again says more than words ..it’s a healing experience. ❤️✅

Patricia (Annie) gave me the best massage I’ve had in my entire life. My shoulders and upper back were so tight from a few weeks of travel/ poor sleep. I left feeling like a new human. For reference- I prefer very deep tissue/ sports massage style pressure. Could not recommend more!

Faith was amazing! She was attentive to my needs & the massage had just the right amount of pressure. She is strong and got through some tough chronic knots. Also gentle and methodical when needed. Highly recommend. Also, the rooms are beautiful.

I had an unexpectedly amazing massage at this spa while on a last minute trip to North Tahoe. Michele McCormic was hands-down the best massage practitioner I have had in years. I went in with a limp due to severe hip and groin pain and left the spa practically skipping! I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Man, I really wanted to love all aspects about my massage and facial. I was so excited to relax and be care free. The evening started smooth. The massage was delightful, the ambience was not. I read in previous reviews months ago that they were having troubles with the music. The problem has not been solved. I thought it was just the room I was in but it was in the facial room as well. The aesthetician ended up bringing in her own music. The massage therapist stopped a couple times to address the issue. It really changed the mood as it went on and off over 10 times in a 90 min massage. I also had a 90 min facial and yes that was amazing as well but when you pay for 90 mins, it would be nice to get that. We started 15 mins late but ended at original time. I should have said something but I didn’t. The facial was a very pleasant experience, maybe I’m just sour cause I wanted more. She really did a great job and my skin feel so good I will definitely go back, it seems like a great place and everyone I know goes there. I need to get better at asking for what I want. It’s just hard to be slightly disappointed when paying a lot of money for the experience.
