David was easy to work with and gave us an amazing backyard! It was a very large project and he was more than happy to discuss all the details and make sure we were on the same page when he gave us his quote. Much of the work was done underground to help with our drainage but their crew was very thorough and cut no corners. We would absolutely recommend this crew for any of your landscaping needs!

Working with David and his crew has been a wonderful experience. David is very knowledgeable about landscaping and offered great advice on how to best improve my situation. I needed a french drainage system installed because my backyard accumulated a bunch of runoff water from neighbors' homes. David gave suggestions for the placement of water catch bins for optimal water collection as well as piping needed to carry the water out to the street. The crew worked quickly and finished the job in 2 days! We added drainage bins to the low lying areas of the lawn (pictured) and they have worked well in managing water flow during heavy storms.

David and his crew were timely and professional. They worked quickly and efficiently while also doing quality work. We had a walkway that had poor pitch and collected water when it rained. David and his team removed the old walkway, re-graded the area to establish a pitch that would result in proper drainage, and installed new pavers. No more puddle when it rains. I would use Martinez Brothers again for other projects.

The problem: the back of our yard is lower than all the homes behind and beside us. Annd the soil is mostly clay. So we get rushing water that has and continues to erode the top soil; also the back and side yards remain saturated with water for days, making our beautiful yard unusable. David Martinez’s crew installed French drains in multiple locations in the back yard and on both sides of the house, down to the road curb. They were quick, hard working and cleaned up very well, so you don’t notice all the digging they did. I am very happy with their excellent work. I highly recommend Martinez Brothers for any landscaping work.

David and his crew at Martinez Brothers Landscaping transformed our back patio & eliminated our backyard swamp! For our backyard project: The pavers that we originally selected continued to be on backorder, through no fault of David's, so he came to us with other options so that we could get our patio project moving. They took up the 10x12 concrete pad that came with the house and expanded our backyard patio to 16x24 with pavers. Additionally, our yard slopes down next to our AC unit, so they built us a nice cedar flower bed so that we wouldn't have to edge/mow in between the patio and our fence. For our French drain: Martinez Brothers also installed a French drain in our back and side yard to address poor drainage and standing water. We've had the French drain now for ~6 months and have not had any issues at all with drainage/standing water since! We highly recommend David and Martinez Brothers Landscaping! They are professional and hard-working guys. He came to our house several times to discuss our project and go over ideas before we started. Pricing seemed very fair and reasonable compared to other quotes we got. We will certainly use them again for any future landscape or hardscape projects. (Note: the pavilion structure pictured was not done by Martinez Brothers. It was purchased and put together by my husband/friends, though David did offer to put it together for us.)

David and his amazing team did an incredible job on our yard. Not only is David a meticulous contractor who does impeccable work, but his team is incredibly hardworking and worked from dawn until dusk each day until our yard was done. They created a beautiful, large patio for us, expanded the sides of our driveway, mulched, walled, and filled our front bed with plants, and they built a retaining wall and mulched our front tree. It was all done with incredible care, each level of soil/sand/pavers perfectly measured and each paver carefully placed. The design on our patio was also beautiful and we immediately received compliments from neighbors! His team never looked tired or frustrated, even when digging through clay and rock, and when hours seemed long and it would have been easy to cut corners, they never once chose to do so. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a hardworking, timely, reliable contractor and a trustworthy crew!

Having read Nextdoor Timberlake posts commending David Martinez and his company, Martinez Brother's Landscape, LLC, we contacted David to request an estimate for landscape maintenance that included trimming, pruning, cleaning and edging our beds followed by mulching. David was incredibly prompt in responding, providing an estimate and then completing the work the following week. David's team was very professional. They worked cohesively, completing the rather extensive project in a single day (25 cubic yards of mulch was needed). The team was attentive to detail and their services met our critical eye with complete satisfaction. His price was fair and reasonable. We appreciate their work and look forward to working with them again. As many know, it is difficult to find a reliable company that is not simply interested in the higher end design and installation projects. We sought and found a customer focused company that also values the ongoing lawn and landscape maintenance needs. We are so satisfied that we will be asking David to pickup our lawn maintenance too since age has finally caught up... Our spirits and will power are willing, but we have reached that point where assistance is needed. Thank you David and your team!

Our yard was a total disaster and Martinez Brothers came in and totally transformed it in 3 days into the backyard oasis of my dreams! After a back porch addition and pool installation, the entire yard was churned up mud and clay. There was no grass left and the flowerbeds had been reduced to partially dug up and dying plants. Our irrigation system was also destroyed and an excavator had left a deep path from the street to the back yard. To top it off, we finished these (Covid-delayed) projects with only 3 days to spare before hosting a graduation party! David and his crew worked very long days, regrading the entire yard, installing new irrigation lines, and sodding. They installed a gorgeous flagstone walkway from the front to the back. They worked the flowerbeds and weeded, replanted, and mulched everything. Honestly, if they saw it needed done, they did it. No shortcuts with these guys! It was truly as if they were caring for their own yards and really wanted everything perfect and happy for the upcoming party. I couldn't ask for more. And I would never call another company as long as I can have these guys. They are the BEST.

These guys are amazing! Started w/ weekly lawn maintenance and have subsequently used them for hardscaping, rebuilding front brick steps, concrete walkways, lawn tear out and full remediation. We will continue to work with the Martinez Brothers for all of our landscaping renovations and maintenance. On top of the high quality work, their crews are respectful and always take the care to clean up. Highly recommended!
