A customer in Rancho Santa Fe contacted us about a Wolf gas cooktop and ventilation system. The range hood controls were operating intermittently, with fan speeds not responding correctly and the hood occasionally failing to turn on.
After diagnosis, we found the blower motor, wiring, and power supply were functioning properly. The issue was traced to the hood control interface, where several buttons were no longer making reliable contact. This caused inconsistent communication with the control board and intermittent operation.
The customer is currently reviewing options to either replace or rebuild the control panel assembly. Premium Wolf ventilation systems rely on electronic controls for blower speed, lighting, and delay functions, making proper control operation essential for reliable performance.
