Samsung Dishwasher Repair — Drain Pump Replacement

A customer in Poway contacted us because their Samsung dishwasher stopped draining completely. Water was sitting at the bottom of the unit, and the dishwasher could no longer complete cycles properly.
The issue started after a glass item fell inside the dishwasher and shattered during operation. Small glass fragments made their way into the drain system and damaged the drain pump. The customer first called a plumbing company, but they were unable to properly diagnose or repair the appliance.

We removed the dishwasher, fully disassembled the drain system, and found broken glass stuck inside the drain pump assembly. The damaged pump could no longer move water correctly. We replaced the faulty drain pump, cleaned the drain line, removed all debris and glass particles, and tested the dishwasher through multiple cycles.
After the repair, the dishwasher started draining properly again with no leaks or abnormal noise. Everything is now working as it should.
