Bosch dishwasher diagnostic and repair completed in a luxury condo near the Marina District in Downtown San Diego, CA.
The customer noticed that dishes were coming out wet at the end of every cycle, and there was also a strong humid smell inside the dishwasher after operation. During diagnosis, our technician discovered that the Bosch dishwasher drying fan assembly had failed after being exposed to water intrusion inside the unit.
After further inspection, we traced the problem to a damaged spray arm assembly that had developed a crack under pressure during wash cycles. Because of the failed spray arm, water was spraying into areas where it normally should never reach, eventually flooding the drying fan compartment and damaging the fan motor and electronics.
We removed the dishwasher from the cabinet for a full internal inspection and confirmed water residue around the fan housing, wiring connections, and lower circulation area. The dishwasher was carefully disassembled, dried internally, and tested to prevent additional electrical damage.
The customer approved replacement of the failed components, and we are ordering original OEM Bosch parts including:
• New drying fan assembly
• New spray arm system
• Updated seals and internal moisture protection components
While servicing the unit, we also cleaned the drain system, checked circulation pressure, inspected the heating circuit, and verified there was no damage to the main control board caused by moisture exposure.
