Completed an ASKO dishwasher diagnostic in San Marcos, CA.
The customer reported that the ASKO dishwasher suddenly stopped responding. The unit was plugged in and power was present at the outlet, but there were no lights, no startup, and no reaction from the controls.
Our technicians removed the dishwasher, checked incoming voltage, inspected wiring connections, tested safety components, and performed a full diagnostic procedure. During testing, we disconnected the unit from power and completed a controlled reset. After reconnecting it, the dishwasher powered back on and temporarily returned to normal operation.
After additional testing, we identified the main issue as an unstable control board causing intermittent startup failure. We explained the repair process to the customer and offered a cost-effective solution. The customer was surprised that the repair cost for the control board was only $109 and approved the order immediately.
Before finishing, we also checked the drain system, circulation performance, door switch operation, and completed a final functional test to confirm there were no secondary faults.
