Diagnostic service and consultation for a Miele dishwasher in the Carlsbad, San Diego, CA area for one of our returning customers. We previously serviced this home and repaired their Thor refrigerator, so the client contacted us again for professional advice.
During the inspection of the Miele dishwasher, we discovered that the intermittent error was caused by a faulty water level pressure sensor. Because of this issue, the Miele dishwasher occasionally believed that the unit was not filling with water properly. The error appeared inconsistently — about once every 10 wash cycles — which caused inconvenience but was not considered a major failure.
We explained the situation in detail and informed the customer that the replacement part would cost approximately $200–$312, including an original sensor for the Miele dishwasher. After reviewing the options, the customer decided to consider purchasing a new dishwasher instead of repairing the current unit.
We offered professional installation services for a new Miele dishwasher or any other brand once the appliance is delivered. The customer agreed and plans to contact us to schedule the installation of the new unit in the near future.
