Thermador Double Oven Not Heating — Error Code F6E1 Fan Failure | Repair in La Mesa
Another successful repair completed in La Mesa, CA!
The customer reported that their Thermador double wall oven suddenly stopped heating completely. The display showed error code F6E1, which indicates a failure of the cooling fan responsible for the electronic control system.
After performing a full diagnostic, we confirmed that the electronic cooling fan motor had failed, preventing the oven from operating safely. When this fan stops working, the control board overheats and the oven will not heat at all.
To safely remove the built-in oven from the cabinet, we used specialized professional oven slides and lifting equipment. This allowed us to carefully pull the unit out without damaging the cabinetry or flooring.
We then replaced the faulty fan with a brand-new original OEM fan motor from Thermador, reassembled the unit, and tested all functions. The oven is now working perfectly again.
Problem:
• Oven not heating
• Error code F6E1
• Failed electronic cooling fan
Solution:
• Removed built-in oven using professional sliding equipment
• Replaced defective cooling fan with original Thermador part
• Fully tested system operation
If your oven shows an error code or stops heating, don’t wait — professional diagnosis can prevent bigger and more expensive repairs.
