Professional repair of a built-in Dacor double oven in the Carlsbad, San Diego, CA area.
The customer contacted us with multiple issues related to their Dacor oven. The upper Dacor oven was not operating correctly — the temperature was not reaching the set level. During our first visit, which took place 2–3 days ago, we performed a full diagnostic and identified a faulty temperature sensor. We replaced the temperature sensor in the upper Dacor oven, and the issue was resolved.
The customer also reported a problem with the lower Dacor oven. In Bake mode at 350°F, the oven was heating very slowly and then failing to maintain the temperature. We opened the control panel of the Dacor oven and discovered that one relay on the control board had been damaged.
Replacement boards for this specific Dacor double oven model are no longer available anywhere, including used parts. Therefore, we sent the control board to our trusted company in Los Angeles for a complete rebuild. Today we installed the rebuilt board, tested the system, and both Dacor ovens are now operating properly. The customer was very satisfied with the result.
