Alpine built-in refrigerator in San Marcos stopped cooling properly. During diagnostics, our technicians found a failed evaporator limit thermostat that caused heavy frost buildup and restricted airflow through the cooling system.
After discussing the repair plan with the customer, we agreed to fully defrost the refrigerator before replacing the component. Complete defrosting allows safe access to the evaporator area and ensures the new part is installed correctly for long-term performance.
We already scheduled a return visit for the next day and arranged the required replacement part in advance to avoid delays. While the refrigerator is open, the customer also requested additional maintenance. We will replace the water filter and install two new door gaskets to improve sealing, temperature stability, and efficiency.
The customer appreciated having a complete repair plan and knowing everything would be completed in one follow-up visit.
